In a way the haters are also being disrespectful to Queen itself. If they love the band so much why don't they embrace their choices or at least give this one choice, Adam , a chance.Still in all if they don't like the line up ,shut up and don't attend the festival. I totally agree, but the Queen purists have no problem slamming Brian and Roger for being sellouts and for disrespecting the legacy of Freddie and the band. These are people with strong feelings, y'all. We're not going to win an argument with them with our purple balloons and paper hearts  We talk about dry spells and long waits for new music and concerts-- LOL these are fans who haven't had new music for what, 17 years? And no tour since 2006 (with Rodgers). These are FANATICS! Maybe Adam will change some minds, maybe not, but that's not the point. Brian and Roger want Adam. End of story. I love that article about creatives, and agree 100%-- this is NOT about the fans, really, as much as fans like to think everything is about them. This is about Queen getting to play the music that they love. All I need to do is to look at the joy on Brian and Roger's faces onstage at the EMAs to know how much they love those songs and that music. The audience is a bonus. And for Adam, same thing. Haters gonna hate, but he's the one who gets to paint those songs with the colors of his voice, and the surreal will become real for him as he joins his art to Queen's for this incredible night. It takes serious balls to do what he's going to do, and all we can do is keep loving and supporting him. |

February 21, 2012 Adam Lambert will sing with Queen again at Europe's Sonisphere Festival in July. Lambert tweeted on Monday: "As many suspected, I can finally confirm: I have been invited by Queen to sing one very special concert! Sonisphere at Knebworth July 7th!" This will be the third time Lambert has performed with Queen, following the 2009 American Idol finals as well as a set at the MTV EMAs last year. Lambert also will release his next solo album, Trespassing, in March.
