Just purchased tickets for Sonisphere. Wouldn't miss it for the world though might have to sell my first born. Oooh! Hadn't thought of that! Anyone need an uncommunicative 39 year old female brat?  |

Could you imagine the hate if Adam was invited by Queen and said, "no!" :  The funny thing is... despite all the angry Queen fan reactions, I saw lots and lots of fans clapping with the music at the EMAs. From the fan perspective, its not about Adam, or Brian or Taylor... its about enjoying a body of work and getting to hear it live. Those that are "unhappy" fans wouldn't see anyone Queen had chosen. So even the hatred flung around isn't really about Adam, its about holding on to an unrealistic ideal. frankly - I feel for Freddie purists... the same as for me NOONE will do Adam's songs justice. I doubt I will be able to appreciate anyone singing his stuff as much as appreciate his own voice. I am IMPRINTED on Adam's voice and delivery. They are imprinted on Freddie's voice and delivery. i understand. I don't, however, understand the loud hatred - that's different and pathetic. Congratulations to all of you who are going! and JanuarySnow - looks like Queen will be coming to you! how great is that?!!!! |

I so wish I could be there with the bunch of you! However, my parents are celebrating 50 years together this summer and have gone to great trouble and expense to rent a large house in Padre Island the week of July 9th. I fear the timing of this show is a conflict. It is so awesome to see his name up there in the headline spot for a major music festival. And then my head twists around at the thought of a later release date for Trespassing. And then I am totally psyched for the Sonisphere show! Adam induced roller coaster illness She doesn't get too check in at Atop too often so I think MAYBE she found out about the release date being pushed back a bit and the Queen announcement on the same day. JMO |

She doesn't get too check in at Atop too often so I think MAYBE she found out about the release date being pushed back a bit and the Queen announcement on the same day. JMO Oh whew! Every UK music site still says March 19th for Trespassing though. Are they trying their best to still get it out by that date maybe, or have Adam's management just really dropped the ball? :-/ |
