[snickers, and wanders back carrying a lolly-covered mod hat] Hey y'all. Not telling anyone to chill out (yet). Just asking for a bit of kindness to another hard-core fan group, who has been dealing with disappointment and compromises for an extremely long time. [smiles] This concert shall play out however it may. Some peeps may change their mind. Some may not. We have the capability to be compassionate. ETA: That said, I've been laughing at a lot of posts today. ;D

[looks up] Well that's good. Now the Queen fans can see why others are flailing.
They still may not change their minds, but at least they can see what the collaboration would look like.

popledge.co.uk/2012/02/21/brian-may-and-adam-lambert-talk-about-upcoming-festival-appearances/BRIAN MAY AND ADAM LAMBERT TALK ABOUT UPCOMING FESTIVAL APPEARANCES BRIAN MAY AND ADAM LAMBERT SPEAK ABOUT UPCOMING APPEARANCES Last month Adam Lambert was forced to play down rumours that he had ‘replaced’ Freddie Mercury as the lead singer of British band Queen. Now ahead of Queen’s headline set at this years Sonisphere Festival Brian May has spoken to reassure Queen fans that Adam is welcome as a singer in their band by fans. Editor's note In my opinion I think it is great that Queen and their music can continue in 2012, my point would be who else could do the job as well as Adam Lambert? He suits the role very well and can manage all the notes that Freddie could, he isn’t trying to be Freddie he is just singing the songs with Queen, I for one am looking forward to their festival appearances.

Now THAT'S a good move! Cool!! (I don't really care about the Queen fans' negativity - I feel the same way about Adam - hate other people singing his songs. ) To keep myself sane, I NEVER read comments).

My son came to visit, and he asked me: "have you heard, that your great idol Adam Lambet will perform with the Queen?" Me in my thoughts : -Yes, of course!!! I have been awake the half of the night, waiting for the information .. And now the whole world talk about him. He is in every News, in every magazine. Isn't it fantastic!!!! And I would like to see him live with the Queen.... Me aloud : "I've heard.- where did you hear about this news?" -Divided personality?
LOL I pretended I hadn't heard yet so my boyfriend could be the one to "let me know". He was quite pleased with himself for knowing something about Adam that I didn't. He also said he wished they were coming over to the states so we could see them.

It's fabulous that so many Atopers are going to Sonisphere! I was tempted but there is no way I can do 2 transatlantic trips this year and one has been booked for 2 months. So - I will live vicariously through our amazing group! And I'm not even jealous!
