Sooo...Lana Del Rey won the International Breakthrough Artist tonight at the Brit Awards, the British equivalent of the Grammys. Didn't her album like, just come out last month? How does that happen? I still think Interscope is into some type of payola. It's not a coincidence that almost all of their artists are huge, esp. on radio. Can Adam switch labels please? ;D RCA Ed speaks in riddles....that statement was really not in the least helpful. :(

Voting... Like Adam, when things get hard, it just makes me want to work harder. I will keep putting all the effort I have time to give into making people know that Adam has fans that want to hear his music. I'm with you guys. At this point, the numbers are what they are. I figure I can wallow in my disappointment and anger, or I can harness that energy into a voting frenzy. This Adam fan is not going down without a fight! (Plus, this one is really easy and only takes a second.)

Hmm... To me, RCAEd is saying that the radio stations have the song. If the radio stations wanted to play the song or hear it, they will play it. Basically saying that they are lying to the fans if they say they don't have it, just saying that to placate the fans so they have an excuse to not play it if they can't, or don't want to play the song. Yeah, sounds like ramble, but who this can be understood.

RCAEds statement seems a bit passive agressive to me. He comes off to me like he is saying the song isn't good enough cause if it was people would be playing it, buying it, radio playing it?

Hi guys! Can anyone please help me out? trying to talk hubby into going to the concert in July but, he would only consider it if there were VIP seating (no standing for hours in the massive crowd for him...) So, are they all open standing or some covered seats available? Thanks!

So, are they all open standing or some covered seats available? Thanks! Yep. There are VIP packages available (tho' very pricey!) Grandstand seating, food, lots of other stuff. Go to AFL, and check out the packages. Do it TONIGHT because the general sale starts tomorrow and they will probably sell out FAST. I think there may be a more full description either on Page 1 or on the meet up thread in the members-only section.

Here's what RCAEd posted this morning in response to the question about BTIKM not getting radio play RCA Ed: Re: RCA ED Please tell us.... new Let me ask you guys something: how is it possible for someone NOT to have a song these days - ANY song they actually wish to hear/play - and perhaps that'll answer your question here. Actually, it'll have to 'cos it's all I'm gonna say on the matter. ETA I see you RabbitRabbit as a voice of sanity over there ;D Let me ask you how it is possible for someone not to have a song they wish to hear play play? That will be your answer? Hmmm.... It seems pretty clear if we knew that we would have our answer and not be asking RCA Ed. I'm going to remember this the next time I am asked a question in class. Student: Why is this passage of text confusing? Me and Ed: Let me ask you something... how it is possible that this text is NOT confusing? And perhaps that'll answer your question. That's all I'm going to say about it. Me (as a student). Wait, Ed! Okay, make me reason it out, but guide me to the answer because I really want to know the right answer, lol.

It's easy for us to say that coz we're not the one who sing those high notes songs and Adam songs and Queen songs are in the same category. And the way he sings his songs and Queen songs, it will take a lot of his vocal cord. Even for GNT he had to consult a vocal coach to be able to sing night over night with a lot of high notes. If you watch Queen's YT, Freddie had to lower the notes on his concerts and he's not hitting those high notes all the time. Adam will need to do the same thing for this appearance. If Freddie could sing 27 songs at Knebworth, then Adam should be able to adjust his vocals to accommodate a 90 minute one-off show. When it said that Freddie's set list consist of 27 songs, I don't think he sang all full songs. From the YT Live Aids, sometimes he sang some of the songs half way or couple of verses. I have to watch all the Live Aid's YTs again. Anyway.. this is not specifically Queen concert so I doubt a full set will consist of 27 songs. I think it will only have 14-16 songs, plus Roger said he and Brian will also sing their song but the primary singer is Adam. So maybe they will sing 3-4 songs and the rest Adam will do the job.
