Hi, this is mayumi. It has been years since I posted something so not sure anymore if I am doing it properly. š Anyway, I am still a big fan but donāt follow his every move like I used to. The last concert I saw was QAL in LA in Nov 2023. I try to bring new people every time I go and the 3 people I invited were amazed at his voice and now understand why I am a fan. BTW, moved back to CA in Dec 2014 and loving it here. I do miss all the parties we had back in GA. Miss those days and friends Iāve made. Cassie, Smokey and Diane, how are things in GA? My son and I had been planning to go to NYC since it is his birth city so we made plans in April to go in the fall after the summer tourist season. Imagine my joy when I found out Adam will be starring in Cabaret on Broadway. What perfect timing. Just bought our tickets (I also invited 2 others who have never seen Adam) for the Oct 30 show. Anyone else going to the same show? mayumi...how great to see your post! I don't think we ever met but I remember reading of all your travels and meetups. I still have fingers crossed to get to see Cabaret but it is a big and expensive trip for me so it may not happen but I love reading all the snippets that make it to the board. Please write a detailed, long wonderful story of your trip and your show! So much fun... |

MAYUMI! Wilkommen back to one of our favorite OGās. Your parties melded many Glamberts together back in the day. I still have the Adam blanket I won during a game at a party at your house. You and Renee were such generous hosts.
I have a couple of great photos of them that Iāll post if I can figure out how.

I've been on this site for quite a while now, but I haven't been here nearly as long as some others. I love seeing some members return here now after being gone for a long time. Adam being in Cabaret has got fans, old and new, really excited! I enjoy seeing names of members posting who are coming back! Hope everyone stays.
Hoping to see some more vids of Adam in the show, but I know it's hard because no one is supposed to video it. Nice that some fans have been able to sneak and few peeks.

Wow, love this thread with what feels like old friends popping back into my life! It feels like I know you mayumi just from reading about your parties! And I did meet babs12 in Vegas so really nice to see you on the board again! We're all hoping for recaps! |
