i thought there was a members thread about the sonisphere concert. isn't that where all the conversation and lists of attendees should be posted? The purpose of that thread is for making plans with each other. Being able to post "private" stuff. Since I am living vicariously thru you all, I hope the Sonisphere posts here, will continue!  |

Thanks mys*&@^#r! I am in, finally, but I can not find VIP tickets....F...K.. Looks like the VIP option is gone. :( They were very expensive though, over a $1000 each. I would think they will have additional VIP tickets on sale during the regular ticket sale so do not give up hope yet. |

Yeah, I don't need to know what time FeedleDee is meeting FeedleDum at the carpark to tailgate, but I want to know who's going and feel like a part of things. And if it is a time sensitive question like getting your hands on tickets, you want to ask in the spot that gets the most traffic. ETA: From what I could see there are still VIP's available for Saturday. |

.... See, the Rainbow Fish WAS the most beautiful fish in the ocean, with gorgeous jewel-toned scales. All the other fish wanted his scales. In order to be accepted by them, the Rainbow Fish gives each of the other fish a beautiful scale, until he only has one left--- the same amount as all the other fish. Then, they all play happily together. It seems to me that the story is not saying you need to share yourself with others as much as it is saying you must strip yourself of your individuality and beauty in order to "fit in." You must make everyone equal - even tho' it requires you to painfully extract the very thing that makes you the special person you are. Why am I writing about the Rainbow Fish on Adamtopia? Because it seems to me that there are those out there who do not like Adam, will not play with Adam (or play his songs) BECAUSE Adam is uniquely himself, uniquely beautiful. In order to get his songs played on the radio he has to strip himself of those unique qualities in order to sound like everything else on the radio. I would much rather Adam stay true to himself and make his kind of music his way, even if it means he does not become a mega-star with songs playing every hour and soaring up to the top of the charts. I would much prefer that Adam gets the critical acclaim and recognition and has healthy sales and a reasonable profit. I'm not saying it is an "either/or" situation. There is always the possibility that his unique voice and musicianship will catch on and rage thru the pop music world like wild-fire. But, if it doesn't, I never want him to compromise his voice, his style, his musicianship in order to look/sound like every other fish in the sea. IMHO. YMMV In order to get his songs played on the radio, Adam has to do what every other artist has to do- produce a catchy song with a great hook that the general listening public wants to hear over and over. He doesn't have to conform to anyone, no more than Nicki Minaj, Lady Gaga or Rihanna has had to. Adam can have unique songs on his album just like Gaga does, but if he wants radio airplay he needs to make sure he has a couple of songs that are radio ready. I would much rather Adam do exactly WHAT HE WANTS TO DO. It is obvious that Adam loves Pop music. He wants Pop hits and wants to be recognized on Pop radio. THIS is Adam staying true to himself! Also, Adam is a business man and he is no dummy. He knows the importance of having singles that get radio play. Adam has always been a fan of Pop music and he understands what is current and what it means to have a hit song. |

Ha, ha!! She was drooling!! This is why I must NEVER meet Adam!  I think we are missing something in this interview(aside from some great gif material that the gushing fan girl ilicited from Adam) is the fact that he is still waiting for a collaboration with someone singing on the album!!![/b] [/size] And then he pauses and says he would love to work with BOWIE..hmm. Does this mean he is waiting for Bowie ???? I wants to know! |

Interview in about 20 minutes, but Adam will be on 45 minutes later. illuxxia @illuxxia they called Adam Finland's son-in-law in a country's top-three prime-time newscast. this will be interesting, lol. I posted in the members only thread but posting here to get more exposure - hope that's ok.
I am considering going to sonisphere but would like to go with one of the rock royalty camping packages. If anyone has purchased one and needs a bunkmate or would be interested in this if I purchased a package, please let me know.
