I sure hope the show picks up momentum and sells more tickets. Adam is getting such positive attention for this show. He deserves a good, successful run. I would love to go see the show, but I cannot. I hope everyone who can possibly make it will go. It sure is cheaper than a QAL ticket. Of course, travel expenses make a difference. Not everyone can go to NYC and pay for transportation, hotel, etc. plus the ticket. I pray with every bone in my body that this show does well during Adam's stint. It could be a real door-opener for him.

I'm retired and hubby has been in danger of layoffs for about 4 years now, so travel to NYC is not in the cards. The ticket is the least of the expense lol.

www.talkinbroadway.com/allthatchat_new/d.php?id=2605674A random tourist’s unsolicited reviews of CABARET w/ Adam Lambert (just posting Adam parts) I think I’m in the tiny minority of ATCers who genuinely loved this production. I saw it in London last winter (with a tremendous cast of non-household name British actors) and fell for the whole thing hook-line-and-sinker. I did not have the opportunity (nor desire) to see Redmayne. I thought this new cast was excellent. Adam Lambert was absolutely superb. I vaguely knew he had a theatre background, but, perhaps unfairly, assumed that the lead singer of Queen, who is known for his incredible set of pipes, was going to be hired to over-sing and preen. So, I was pleasantly surprised at how committed his performance was. This is no pop singer masquerading as an actor, but, rather, a performer with genuine theatre chops returning to his roots. He was wonderfully slick and seductive and, at times, menacing. And, yes, he sang the hell out of his many numbers, but never over-sang – using his considerable vocal power judiciously. And, thankfully, none of that bizarre Redmayne’esque nature of the Emcee was evident – Lambert was allowed to make the Emcee his own. The score sounded absolutely brilliant and the orchestra was even better than the one in London. There really is nothing like Kander & Ebb at the height of their powers. FWIW, I was with an older friend who actually saw the original London production with Judi Dench and he absolutely loved this production.
