Mar 6 2011 1:36 PM EST 760 Adam Lambert To Return to 'American Idol' Singer will unveil an acoustic version of 'Aftermath' to benefit The Trevor Project.By Shawn Adler "All season long on "American Idol,' top ten finalist James Durbin has had to endure comparisons to season eight runner-up Adam Lambert. This week, he'll get to make those comparisons himself." more here: www.mtv.com/news/articles/1659307/adam-lambert-return-american-idol.jhtmlI am wrong, or is this MTV article the ONLY one covering Adam's new Aftermath release that mentions "openly gay"??? MTV is major douchebags!!!! MTV doesn't always include it but it was relevant to the article and to Trever Project. Seem OK to me. I do not have a problem if reporters include that Adam is openly gay, as long as they do not define him solely by that label.

I don't have a problem with it either, but I seem to remember when the news came out, there were 4 or 5 media stories that came out, and not ONE of them mentioned Adam as openly gay, there are plenty of ways to describe Adam and his music without throwing that in. JMHO :-/

Your comment made me think again and I agree. It does seem relevant in this case. Thanks for being so rational and toning down my emotional responses.

I have a RL Facebook that I don't use much, but have a fair amount of "friends" that are all more active posters than I am. I recently put up that Sleepwalker Vevo video. 0 comments. 0 "Likes." Zippo. Nada. Another person put up that cover by David Cooke that will be featured on Idol. Oodles of comments and "Likes." : : : I think I need new "friends." Aw, but you have lots of friends here that would do the opposite of those urm...so called friends. I love you all.

Some are Ninjas, some are Minions of the Dark Lord Screamova, some are Globerts, some are...... ..... and a few of us are just AFL fans. ;D

JMHO :-/ Normally I would agree, but in this case, the point IS that Adam, an openly gay singer, is singing a song that is personal to him and supporting a cause that specifically addresses the bullying of gay and lesbian youth. It's part of why this song, this performance and this singer are so groundbreaking and special.

Wow. This is the first time I've seen this. Has it been brought over already? Someone made a video to Aftermath. It's quite touching. Can't view this here :(.

I have tears running down my face from laughing so hard at this. They could not be more right on, unfortunately.
