OK, please add me to the $100 pledge ... I'm a tad confused, so just tell me what I need to donate after 'leap day' and I'll be happy do it.

q3 and mods - Can put all these international radio votes on the front page? So we can do it right before reading the news too??  If I can get a bit of help, I will be happy to post on page 1. If someone can volunteer to put together a list and post it in the thread or PM it to me. I put it on page 1. (Just like MyS*&@^#r50 does for the US.) Anyone want to give it a shot? ******************** Also, to US Members --- this week requests for BTIKM matter a lot. I am pretty sure everyone is getting tired of requesting but now it really matters. Request locally, use mediabase forms or call or whatever the station wants. Then vote on VH1. Then help on the stations that take requests form anywhere. ******************** |

I am so blown away by all the donation matching! This is really going to make a difference. There seems to be some confusion about how it all works, but wouldn't the simplest way just be for every individual who has made a matching pledge to count up the number of donations with the words "LEAP DAY CHALLENGE" in the comment section and then when the numbers add up to the pledged amount, make their own donation?
Each person could choose for her/himself whether they want to match a bunch of small donations, or just match whatever adds up to their pledge. I don't think I'm explaining myself very well, so I'll give an example:
Pledger A says she will match donations of $5 or less up to $100. So beginning on February 29th, she peeks in on the donation page now and then, keeps track of all the $5 or less donations, and when they add up to $100, she makes her $100 donation.
Pledger B thinks he'd rather just match any donation up to $100. So when he sees a $50 donation, one $20 donation, two $10 donations, and two $5 donations, he makes his $100 donation. Or maybe he sees one $100 donation right away, and matches it.
I actually don't think the details matter as much as the enthusiasm. As long as the troops are rallied to give what they can, it should all work out.
