Ah, Cassie. Before I head upstairs in this quiet house, I want to let you know . . . I met Adam's 'Unca Dave' - and I posted this sentiment maybe a year ago. Unca Dave was visiting family, and was in the kitchen with Leila. Adam probably was about the age of picture #1. Alone. Becoming. David heard something, and went upstairs. And, his words to me were "I opened the door, and witnessed the most beautiful sound I've ever heard - Adam singing". I am not sure of 'timelines'; but sometime shortly thereafter Adam sang 'Lily's Eyes'. I asked David about this; and he nodded, just nodded. For a little bit, it was hard to see. |
