NoAngel
Thanks for an especially beautiful essay this morning!
That. SNOL video is a gift! Every word, look, glance, voice inflection completely grabs me and pulls me in.
The Queen documentary last night talked about how Freddie had an ability to pull people in, even in big stadiums... an ability to connect with people when he performed.
Adam has that, too. I feel it even when he is just talking and answering questions in front of a web camera.
I really enjoy seeing Adam fly because he takes me there with him. The ride is thrilling, and the minute it is over, I am like a kid saying, "Again! Again!"

NoAngel, your lyrical essays speak so true, they resonate within one's body like a tuning fork. Brava!!!
Without a formal education, Adam has invested his emotional intelligence to inhabit a Ph.d in advanced communication. That he observes, feels, and thinks deeply are instinctive; that he is able to share himself with us is an even greater gift.
To be a friend or loved one of his must be astonishing, because even the glimpses we fans receive is powerful and magical.

Another wonderful essay NoAngel! The last paragraph had me in tears - it's beautifully written and it's true. Thank you.
I have to be offline for most of the day or I would watch the chat AGAIN. Not only is he adorable but his answers are so honest & revealing (well as much as he wants to reveal). Wouldn't it be great if he did a chat like this once a week? Or even once a month?
Adam is his own best PR. If people could listen to him speak extemporaneously most would embrace him completely. He is certainly one of the "nicest guys in show business". And brave as hell.

I just wanna say how excited I am that Adam mentioned my country in this Romeo Q&A. It isn't the first time I hear a performer say that they've heard Israel is a fun place for a concert, so apparently it goes around 8-). I bet he's heard it from Rihanna! So it gives me hope that next tour he might have a concert here in my little country! Yay!!

No Angel, you made me cry this morning. You are a brilliant writer with incredible intuition and insight into Adam. You are able to read him well. Your writing is so poignant that I become overwhelmed with emotion at times. That for me has always been the earmark of a great human being with a lot of heart. To be able to move people with your thoughts and words is a gift and talent not to be denied.
I have to include Cassie and her talent also. She overwhelms me at times with her words and thoughts. Kudos to you both.

NoAngel, thank you for another great essay! I enjoy reading all of them! I didn't read the thread yet, but I listened to Adam's interview and while reading your essay I pictured this image in my head: [glow=red,2,300]φωτιά στο εσωτερικό - fire within[/glow]It's not a dragon here but a phoenix, though I think it pictures the fire of Adam's soul quite well too.

I just finished watching the Queen documentary. I am so glad I did. It makes me that much more excited for Adam + Queen! I watched the documentary yesterday. I was touched by all the men. I have always been partial to Brian May, and I am now totally in love with him. To see his warmth and tenderness and his expressions of sadness for his band mate really moved me. Roger, too is a darling, warm man. What a time they had. What a life they have led. Amazing men - Queen.

I have a question for whoever can answer I noticed this trend like what happened with Adam's chat last night. Before the chat is even cold people are ripping it and passing it around. It's posted on YouTube and sitting on peoples iPods. It's wonderful the cleverness of Adam's fans but does anyone else feel that at times that hurts rather than helps? To me it takes away hits from SNOL's website and belies the true popularity of Adam. Other examples are Adam's performance on Ellen. Again fans rip it and post their own version on YouTube and once again take away hits from Ellen's site. I do know for a fact that one of the measurements of popularity of an artist is how much traffic they draw. I notice the same thing when an article posts pics of Adam. People right away rip it put it to their own twitpic than tweet it out again. Some of these measurements are important. For example Celebrity-gossip.net a big supporter of Adam gets 14 million readers per month. They are always showing Adam pics in a nice way. Yet I see people ripping them and passing them around rather than directing people to that website thereby driving traffic. These sites will lose interest if articles about Adam don't generate traffic plus it belies the true popularity of Adam. I truly do admire the skills of A's fans though. I partly agree and I wondered about that the other day when an article in its entirety was posted here and it apparently was because people couldn't access the site from their workplace and didn't want to wait until they were at home. But: I live in a scorned country and if people wouldn't make "stuff" available I still to this day would not have been able to see Adam's BTIKM vid. Okay, maybe with hidemyass, that's how I could watch the Queen documentary. 8-) IMO it's something that's not only happening in Adam's fandon but in every fandom, so overall I'm not concerned. It's a good point and a great opportunity for a reminder to MAKE IT A POINT TO ALWAYS CLICK ON THE ORIGINAL LINK. I do. It's rather easy, but many people cannot access the videos and photos because of Flash or country prohibitions. Fans rip things so that everyone has an opportunity to see. But those who collect, format and share media are always emphatic people make sure to hit the original source whenever possible. The Friday when BTIKM was released and being reviewed coincided with another round of Queen rumors press and stories were coming so dang fast that I could barely keep up, but I clicked on every one of them, and read the piece, even if it was a cut/paste job from another story. By the end of the day, I was exhausted, sure I had clicked on more than 100 stories that day. Media knows they're competing with every other outlet, and sometimes they straight out "borrow" from others. The Socialite Life and Celebrity Gossip usually get the same pap photos as Jared, but he beats them by an hour almost always. Even though we've seen and posted the pics, I think most people (on my feed anyway) still view the entire slide show both to hit the site and to see if there are any new photos. On Twitter, I think the vast majority of people always link to the original story, with the exception of translations, but Mia and Zinnia always remind people to click on Sauli's original links and don't bring over the photos as a added incentive to get people to remember to click on his links. Proliferation of links and stories is always a good thing, I think. When I post an article here, I rarely do it in its entirety (unless it's a paragraph), always post the original link and make sure everyone knows there is (MORE), as do Gelly, Wal and most who bring over news. Regarding YouTube, NBC does a very good job keeping its stuff proprietary when it is brand new, but it seems they let it go after awhile. For instance, the day after Leno performance, they took down every YT and kept driving people back to their site. They do this with everything - SNL sketches, in particular. When they are hot buzz, they'll drive everyone back to the NBC sites, but it seems they let it go after a week or two and know the publicity driven by the YouTubes is as valuable as the hits from an older clip.
