No Angel, you made me cry this morning. You are a brilliant writer with incredible intuition and insight into Adam. You are able to read him well. Your writing is so poignant that I become overwhelmed with emotion at times. That for me has always been the earmark of a great human being with a lot of heart. To be able to move people with your thoughts and words is a gift and talent not to be denied. I have to include Cassie and her talent also. She overwhelms me at times with her words and thoughts. Kudos to you both. ^^^^^^^ ITA!

Thank you NoAngel. Amazing article. I know that you will capture the emotion & experiences of the Adam/Queen epicness that will happen in July and hope that you post them here.

He Can Fly, My Friends Thanks NoAngel, your essay affect me. I had to reference this post because I love both the sentiment and the visual. You, NoAngel, were spot on, and my favorite, and I think most accurate, adjective was FEARLESS. Adam faces things head-on, consequences be damned, when he thinks he's right. That is inspiring.

ETA: Anybody here ever read Hermann Hesse 's 'Narcissus and Goldmund"? Somehow Brian and Adam totally remind me of that relationship.....so many parallels. Thank you for the reminder! I loved this book, but didn't re-read it for quite some time. Now I just have to dig it out in my library and look up all these parallels.

I have a question for whoever can answer I noticed this trend like what happened with Adam's chat last night. Before the chat is even cold people are ripping it and passing it around. It's posted on YouTube and sitting on peoples iPods. It's wonderful the cleverness of Adam's fans but does anyone else feel that at times that hurts rather than helps? To me it takes away hits from SNOL's website and belies the true popularity of Adam. Other examples are Adam's performance on Ellen. Again fans rip it and post their own version on YouTube and once again take away hits from Ellen's site. I do know for a fact that one of the measurements of popularity of an artist is how much traffic they draw. I notice the same thing when an article posts pics of Adam. People right away rip it put it to their own twitpic than tweet it out again. Some of these measurements are important. For example Celebrity-gossip.net a big supporter of Adam gets 14 million readers per month. They are always showing Adam pics in a nice way. Yet I see people ripping them and passing them around rather than directing people to that website thereby driving traffic. These sites will lose interest if articles about Adam don't generate traffic plus it belies the true popularity of Adam. I truly do admire the skills of A's fans though. I partly agree and I wondered about that the other day when an article in its entirety was posted here and it apparently was because people couldn't access the site from their workplace and didn't want to wait until they were at home. But: I live in a scorned country and if people wouldn't make "stuff" available I still to this day would not have been able to see Adam's BTIKM vid. Okay, maybe with hidemyass, that's how I could watch the Queen documentary. 8-) IMO it's something that's not only happening in Adam's fandon but in every fandom, so overall I'm not concerned. I am very cognizant of the importance of "clicks" - so I make sure that I click and open every original page posted here (unless it is sites like Perez...). - That's the best I can do to support Adam's popularity and keep the incentive to feature Adam up. NoAngel - your last two paragraphs brought tears to my eyes - beautiful! thank you! OK, now I am going to ask something that will possibly stir a negative reaction, so either skip or keep in mind that I am trying to understand the psychology behind these kind of statements: So, yesterday Adam got annoyed (very rightfully so) at thoughtless remarks he receives...I understand all of it except for these two statements - in bold: That's me. Its not something you should have to look past. Look right at it. It's fabulous. Gay is fierce. Be proud with me!!!!What does this mean? I am trying to relate by saying "being straight is fabulous. Straight is fierce" - how does this sound? Does it make any sense to you? Is it just a super defensive stance? Is it something one says being in the heat of this argument? Am I just over-analyzing everything Adam says? I am more than proud with him and of him! But in this case - my comprehension fails me :-[

Thanks, NoAngel for another great article. This one is one of the best of a great lot. All of this activity generates more traffic to the original post, not less. At first it may seem counter-intuitive but it is how the web functions most of the time. People want to go to the original video/article/etc. to post and read comments, and to see it on the original. Most impoartantly, the original site moves up on Google, Bing and other search engines because of the links to it. Then more people find it because over 80% of people find news and new sites form search engine. And the web grows. Last night "Ask Anything" had a huge traffic night. The one big exception is music and video sales (and other digital products like software, movies, TV) -- unfortunately the web has create a perfect environment for people to get digital products for free.

From deepinsideofewe Adam's face and entire demeanor are so expressive and I don't think that's ever more true than in this interview. Unfettered by time constraints and annoying interruptions, he takes each question, ponders the answer, and chooses the exact words he wants to get his point across. And I have to say the clanking dishes and silverware in the background add a #realness to it.

NoAngel, thank you for another great essay! I enjoy reading all of them! I didn't read the thread yet, but I listened to Adam's interview and while reading your essay I pictured this image in my head: [glow=red,2,300]φωτιά στο εσωτερικό - fire within[/glow]We are truly blessed this morning, with No Angel's magnificent essay and this incredible image - I have no words... It's not a dragon here but a phoenix, though I think it pictures the fire of Adam's soul quite well too.
