Auli'i is SO young! Started with the Moana project at 14. She has a great career going for her. Moana 2 will be a huge hit for sure, and I'm sure her career will flourish. Adam, on the other hand, is a veteran. Love how she describes how Adam sometimes takes audience members to task, and how it changes the dynamics of the rest of the show. Adam is fearless and masterful. I keep thinking about where his theater career may go. Just guessing that he may prefer doing more theater (if he can) over touring with his own music. He says he'll keeping producing new music, which we all want, but the allure of live theater is really strong for him. The advantage to concert touring is that he goes to a lot of different venues, so fans have a better chance of seeing him live.

Great interview, but, good grief, she has only been in the show about 2 months, how many times do they injure each other??? And, I am not quite understanding the press opportunities as opposed to having a voice at night. Isn't she not performing to do all of this press? Not trying to be picky, just trying to understand. An hour long interview with Adam would be divine...... She was out of Cabaret for a week, to do press or anything concerning Moana 2. But I guess there are many more interviews this month? I was surprised to hear, that she was put on vocal rest (for a week?), because her voice was gone (?). I noticed, that there had been lots of missed shows on her side, the scheduled off-shows last week, but also many unscheduled ones. Let’s hope for her, that she can manage it all and get some rest next month, when that press circle is over.

I had thought there were 2 weeks that she was doing PR for Moana Omaybe I missed something). I also checked some shows in December and the dates I could go, Adam was performing, but not her. I have seen the show, I wanted to see it a second time with both of them. She was scheduled on the day I had tickets, but did not perform. Her U/S was fabulous. Of course, Adam was the draw and he was mesmerizing. Since the movie comes out the end of November, I would guess the PR would be over by then. Hopefully, she is careful with her voice and maybe Adam can give her some hints.

Adam was taught early on about how to take care of his voice. Even Brian and Roger said that he has more vocal stamina than Freddie had. In all those QAL years, he only missed one show due to illness. And we all know that even Queen's "small" songs are big. Adam has a strong, broad-chested body, perfect for a big voice.
I did not realize that Auli'i has missed more than just one or two shows. Doing PR is understandable, but I hope her voice can stand up to this theater run. She hasn't done this before. Adam has, on stage and in countless tours.
He has lungs and vocal chords made of steel.

That’s one thing, that even the most critical Queen fans can’t deny, did notice and have acknowledge or even admired: Adam‘s voice has made it through all these world tours in an incredible shape. While Freddie often had hit&miss concerts (vocalwise) and his voice tended to get worse towards the end of a tour, Adam‘s never once faltered. The quality has been more or less the same for every single concert. That’s an unbelievable achievement with these really hard to sing Queen songs!
