Since a bunch of us committed to donating the $100 and there aren't many hours left (7 hours in Central time), why don't we just divide up the rest of the donors and do a certain number an hour to get them all in by midnight? Do we really care if there's enough to match? Except for the readers on this board, I doubt if anybody is keeping up with it. Everybody just keep tweeting and posting on other boards about it and as people get home from work, they'll see it and possibly donate. We have 9 hours until Adam Time midnight -- my recommendation is that we not change anything until after midnight -- then at midnight extend it for 24 more hours and match up to $10 for day 2. Many of the donors are being motivated by the match because I got emails from non-members worried about doing it wrong and forgetting the LEAD DAY reference in the comments. (I now have 14 of these emails so not just an isolated case. None are ATop members and I do not recognize any of them.) We are up to $58,925 -- we are certain to hit $60K today and we will have the fund to keep pushing tomorrow. It is a very common and effective strategy to extend a matching grant campaign. Sounds great, Q3! Including your 14 we're now at 237 donations, give or take a few for mislabled donations and (my) human error. That all adds up to $4856 in donations, plus our matches. big ol' Sauli-Yay!

From the article about the lawsuit resolution: That's kind of a big fat lie, isn't it? I remember that particular item being quoted so often that it almost seemed as if they were suing him for not being eligible for Idol. Yep they used the idol reference to try to shame Adam so that they could collect. May these assholes fortunes forever burn being the slimeballs that they are.

Adam Lambert UK @lambertuk Adam Lambert Legal Settlement Allows Pre-'American Idol' Album to Come Out (Exclusive) - The Hollywood Reprter - j.mp/yNP7AS To be honest, it still irks me they can release it, but with so many amazing things happening in AdamLand right now, it's easier to move on.
Need to have some pretty/sexy to cleanse my palate:

Colwel actually did retract that statement about Idol a while back I just hope they don't mislead the public again about the old songs being new songs kind of thing. Hope they don't have more songs but think they might.

Adam's interview in Swedish magazine is so honest.. about his possessive tendencies and about his looks. He really doesn't seem to get just how gorgeous he is. He still worries about being fat,I worry about him getting too skinny.LOL

smokey, your dedication was beautiful. Hugs to you. Lots of people thinking fondly of your mom today who didn't even know her.

Yay, thanks fanoftheman! Just to update the matchers list: Smokeyvera's next, Then Whatayasay Then Rabbitrabbit Then Mayumi But I don't think we need to feel too tightly bound by the list order, because we didn't really iron this out beforehand and I'm sure a lot of the matchers aren't free to or don't know to check in during the day to match in order. It seems to me it's more important to keep the matches coming in somewhat regularly in order to encourage more donating! So if there seems to have been a long spell without a match (significantly more than 20 donations, say, or 40 after a $200 match) maybe someone else who's coming up on the list but maybe not strictly next can jump in and match--just so long as you make sure you mark yourself down as "MATCHED" on the google spreadsheet! (Q3--hope i'm not overstepping, suggesting this, but I don't think the order is all that important and it's good to keep that carrot dangling close by!) THANKS all you lovely donors and matchers!! Great work! I made my $200 donation in memory of my mother Alexandria.
