Time for me to sleep. I hope when I wake up tomorrow I will see many many more matching donations. Good night

BTW do our Singapore and Malaysian friends know about the Charity drive? We had a number of members from there who eventually initiated their own Adam fan sites. Probably a bit late in the day for them, but its still the 29th here! I'm assuming the Brit sites got a heads up, but if they haven't, I'm pretty sure we'll still be going by their morning :D @lambritsuk and lambosessed both retweeted the tweet I sent directly to them.

Since a bunch of us committed to donating the $100 and there aren't many hours left (7 hours in Central time), why don't we just divide up the rest of the donors and do a certain number an hour to get them all in by midnight? Do we really care if there's enough to match? Except for the readers on this board, I doubt if anybody is keeping up with it. Everybody just keep tweeting and posting on other boards about it and as people get home from work, they'll see it and possibly donate. Well, I would say either this, or we extend the challenge into March (call it Leap-ish, Adam-style, or WeWillMartchU. Februarch?). I'm happy either way, but it would be a shame to waste all this great matching potential! I will be making my $100 donation regardless, at whatever point we decide to end this drive. Since I'm nearer the end of the list, I can wait to match upcoming donations if that's what we decide to do. I think your suggestion is a good one.

Everybody just keep tweeting and posting on other boards about it and as people get home from work, they'll see it and possibly donate. We have 9 hours until Adam Time midnight -- my recommendation is that we not change anything until after midnight -- then at midnight extend it for 24 more hours and match up to $10 for day 2. Many of the donors are being motivated by the match because I got emails from non-members worried about doing it wrong and forgetting the LEAD DAY reference in the comments. (I now have 14 of these emails so not just an isolated case. None are ATop members and I do not recognize any of them.) We are up to $58,925 -- we are certain to hit $60K today and we will have the fund to keep pushing tomorrow. It is a very common and effective strategy to extend a matching grant campaign.

From the article about the lawsuit resolution:
That's kind of a big fat lie, isn't it? I remember that particular item being quoted so often that it almost seemed as if they were suing him for not being eligible for Idol.
