Good idea! There is no end to the funny tweets this could produce! Reluctant to spend money because I'm saving for a tour that isn't even in the planning stage yet. #AFLfanproblemsWell murly, we are still all alone out there on twitter whith this I guess not many will join. sadz :-/  Well, we tried! yeah but mischa, there's photoshopping and there's photoshopping. Look at that photo you just posted - he's not all bleached out there. The DETAILS shoot was perfection, in my opinion.  that said, I adore the fashion in this spread and can hardly wait to get my greedy little hands on the magazine! |

My feelings too. I like the imperfections of Adam, they make Adam Adam, his imperfect skin, freckles and all. Why do they airbrash everything away. Would love to see these pics with better photoshop tools used, because the pics are great itself, just the airbrushing bothers me. Exactly. You know when someone tells you they like you just the way you are and you don't have to wear make up or worry about your hair, at which time you just want to tell them to buzz off because you want to look special sometimes, fancy, if you will, just because. Well, Adam has limitless resources available to him now which makes periodic, temporary transformations possible, and knowing how he loves to play dress up, who are we to deny that to him. He's not a WGWG, he's our glam god, even if he's decided to tone it down a bit. Just like his personality, his look will never be boring. There's not a person on any upscale magazine, like it or not, who goes au natural, well, you know what I mean. It's not like Lee's pics aren't doctored a little, probably at Adam's suggestion, I like this, can we tweak that. My opinion, he looks sexy, hot, and oh so literary. |

Well, I see where you both are coming from. But I think it's more a stylistic choice that has everything to do with Fault's editorial identity and image. Not necessarily realistic but certainly slick and edgy. He'd look different if he covered People Magazine. I appreciate these interpretations of Adam. The cool thing is his beauty lends itself to all looks-- and he's equally stunning in them all. Or-- what Mischa said. Yes, it's like reinventing him time after time, like he is doing himself as well! Guys, you can do this high fashion thing without airbrushing or bluring all over models face. There is no point in making people look like plastic dolls everytime except when you doing stylized photoshot of people playing plastic dolls. |

I'm not an expert, but I think some of you are missing the point of a FASHION shoot. Just like all the weirdness in the FYE cover shoot, Michelin Man and all, just like the Mike Ruiz shoot, the always glorious Robert Sebree session, it's not supposed to be Adam running to Whole Foods. It's a "suspend reality" shoot. I agree nothing is quite as awesome as Adam sans makeup and in a T and jeans, but just like you don't look the same for a night out on the town as you do at work, Adam likes to change it up. And, no, I am not missing the point of photoshop, airbrush, etc, I'm just saying, I don't think for a second he has one reservation about how he looks in these photos................. totally HOT. Sebree  And might I say, the fact that Adam has never re-worn this outfit....especially the pants...makes me very, very sad. :( ;D |
