Sonisphere @sonisphere Reply Retweet Favorite · Open Interview with Stuart on NME - nme.com/news/queen/623… Same article that valilac posted www.nme.com/news/queen/62377?utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=twitterAsked how he went about booking Queen, Galbraith said: "I rang them the day after the MTV EMAs. I thought their performance with Adam that night was stunning and I literally rang them the following day. They weren't hesitant at all.
gelly - Stuart is the same journalist that interviewed Adam right? Dennis Stuart?? No today's article is interviewing the Sonisphere festival organiser Stuart Galbraith

idolator.com/6206421/adam-lambert-fault-magazine-photosAdam Lambert In ‘Fault’: “Wrong Guys” Made Him “Suffer” (PHOTOS) Posted on March 2, 12 Gaze deeply into the piercing blue eyes (even bluer than usual, wouldn't you agree?) of Adam Lambert on the cover of Fault magazine's spring issue. Inside, the Trespassing crooner opens up about his upcoming album, confessing to the mag: "There are songs on [the LP] that deal with that anxiety. Until I met my current boyfriend (Sauli Koskinen), I was always falling for the wrong guys, which caused my self worth to suffer. This is just some of what the album explores.” Check out Glambert's latest spread and tell us below which shot you dig the most. (Personally, we're partial to the adorable photo of Adam holding a little chihuahua.) more..

I'm not talking about being naturalistic all the time. Hell, no! I love art, and fashion is art. But bad retouch is bad retouch [grins] You see, I just look at that as a stylistic choice. Like I said in my earlier ETA, its almost Andy Warhol-ish in terms of over-saturation of color. (Adam's eyes are blue-green, but not THAT blue-green! ) The lighting, styling, and and retouching strokes in those photographs makes an artistic statement within a high-fashion style shoot. Fantasy photos of an already beautiful man. The results are stunning.

Just because I need to see my bendy and beautiful Adam again. ;D ETA: [looks at photo and sighs] Almost Andy Warhol-ish in terms of saturation of color. Love, love, love the juxiposition of textures and patterns. Me too! I get an Alice in Wonderland vibe....LOVE it!

A very small minority of fans felt the FAULT photos were too photoshopped. But the thing is - we've had so many wonderful natural pics of him recently so I'm really excited about these professional photos. I want both! The thing with Adam is that he has absolutely perfect features. Out of hundreds of thousands of photos I think I've only seen about 10 or 20 that were bad. And most of those were on Rickey's site. He always seemed to go to all kinds of trouble to find an unflattering pic of Adam. HaHaHa Good times. Lynne - I just now saw that you had been hospitalized. I'm so sorry you had medical problems but so glad you're better - and home! I also think that they are too photoshopped but for me it's a professional thing. I do retouches almost everyday and I will never do it this way. Never use smudge tool or blur - there is plenty other tools in Photoshop that give way better results. People are no mannequins, they never should looks like them. This kind of retouching gives fashion magazines bad name. I'm sorry but I think it's hopelessly amateurish retouch. Lee Cherry do it thousand times better. While I am far from a pro, I love these professional stylized pics. Perfect glam, exquisite and high-end results, IMO. I think they are utter perfection for the desired image. In fact, I wasn't planning on buying this mag until I saw this incredible cover. I am totally deeply and insanely in LUV with these unbelievably wonderful "mannequin" pics. *drool* Oh yeah - guess I like them ok.

To be clear - I like this photoshot, I think photos are great but they would be way better without all this airbrush, blur et cetera. Too much is bad, bad, bad ;-P It make me cringe inside when I see this kind of retouch. I really suffer here as a pro so please forgive me and have mercy
