Craazyforadam! In yesterday's thread you were very angry, when no one answered your question. I'm sure that no one wanted to intentionally hurt or anger you. I also ask sometimes questions, that no one will answer. And then I'm a little hurt. I have got over the feeling, thinking that no one may understand my broken english, or my question was not hit anyone -this time. You have too much to lose, if you really leave us. So please try to get over the anger and injury and come back.

For those of you who did not watch the live stream of Prop 8 court appeal play last night, here is the YouTube. It's 1 1/2 hours of worthwhile education with an all-star cast and director. www.youtube.com/AmericanEqualRightsJust so you know, it is definitely not a chore to watch this play, I watched the live stream as it was happening, it is poignant, funny, and fascinating. One interaction between George Clooney and John C. Reilly is priceless and hilarious. Lots of great performances. Brad Pitt and Kevin Bacon aren't too shabby, either.

What is incredible to me is that Adam has achieved all this first class coverage, industry respect and the now standard "vocal sensation" labeling, essentially without US radio....something I doubt many thought was possible. Of course he needs radio for sales etc., (and it will come with this era), but all of this he has achieved with one and a half modest hits two years ago. Where regular mortals struggle to get seen and heard even with a song on the charts Adam has become a global star through the sheer inability of the world to deny his talent. His extraordinary voice and persona have allowed him to bypass what was assumed to be the only route - one that is clearly fraught with difficulty for an openly gay man in a conservative country, and they have delivered him right into the arms of musical legends, the headlining of stadiums and the growing status of a cultural touchpoint. Not only is this fascinating to watch, but it must really piss off all the knuckleheads who hate him! I really love your post and the way you step back and remind us of the big picture. It is pretty incredible and very fascinating to watch. Adam is pretty incredible and fascinating to watch as well, ;D |

CraazyforAdam...hope you're not still feeling hurt. I've noticed that on weekends there is less activity on the board overall, especially late at night. Hey, most of my posts go unremarked upon, so clearly your content in general is highly comment-worthy!

Funny ,watching V H1 top 20.. Jim saying Clarkson fans,Cook fans and Lambert fans are fierce/passionate. I guess Kelly's fans put up the most fuss , It's that squeaky wheel. Faking annoyance Jim put Stronger up as #1 Let's do this guys Adam next #1.
