I am surprised. I thought some would have talked with each other about Adam. Interesting pic. This is really interesting I think...if it were my research interest, this picture would make a really compelling argument for the 'disconnect' between people and their utter preference for virtual communication over face-to-face....and for the fact that this is not just a 'youth' phenomenon! What does that say about us? And that pic is taken of a small homogenous group of people with a strong common interest! Aren't they waiting for Adam and telling friends who did not get M&Gs what is going on. See the beauty of texting is that those ladies could be talking to the people next to them as they text.

I don't have a cell phone--did when they first came out, years ago, but don't really have a big need for one now...not that I would say no to a gift . My question is, for those who spend a lot of their 'concert' time filming and tweeting, when you 'remember' or 'relive' the concert...or when you read your tweets back, do you remember and relive the concert, or the tweeting [complete with all the concert ambience]? I always advised students to sit in their 'usual' seats when writing an exam as we tend to recall things in a holistic experiential way...that is...when trying to recall what a professor said or a film showed, one of the most effective paths to successful recall was to picture...visualize..the learning experience....to re-see the learning point. How does that extrapolate to the experience of texting and tweeting during a concert or waiting for the concert? Also, how does the mediation of the camera impact the experience of the concert? I have often wondered how Suz526's experience of a concert differed from mine, for example....just curious...not attaching value, just interested. I am interested in this topic too. I have a pay-as-you-go cell phone just for car emergencies. I never use it for anything else. I find that being connected can interfere with my ability to experience an event. I would never want to feel I had to tweet for others ... and truth be told, I don't get much out of other people's tweets. Not putting it down, just speaking of my own personal feelings about the matter. But hearing that Adam was cute, Adam sang well, Adam seemed excited ... that tells me nothing I wouldn't have known without Twitter. When I see something amazing, I want to experience it unfiltered. I'll process it first. For example, I didn't want to read what other people thought about the EMAs, or the BTKIM video, or other events until I'd had a chance to absorb and enjoy it by myself. If I happen to see something amazing in the next couple of days though ... I'll process it and then tell you guys about it. Just not in real time.

@bani_: MIX102.9: outlaws of love (video): youtu.be/R8lZbEY34pw via @youtube This is incredible. And gut wrenching. I liked the note variation at 3:33-3:35.
