Hmmm..... love it, nice and great...hmmmm no exclamations no bolded text.... Just so I am clear... Very good but not jump up and down, weeping, dynamite good??? Chase Farley above ( sic!!! hopefully!!!)I'm really tired. I'm all berted out! That partially explains the dearth of exclamation points. Also, I meant it emphatically--full stop. "Chokehold" is very nice. I didn't mean that in a lukewarm way. While he was singing it, I thought, niiiiiiice. It's melodic and I hear bits of soul, rock, a little funk groove in it, too. (No Citizen Vein feel to me ???) I was not overwhelmed by "Cuckoo" in the moment. I was expecting "more," based on the descriptions, and a different beat. I was also videoing with a camera I've never used before, so that affected my ability to process everything that was happening. Maybe the electronic sound, etc., is on the CD. Then when I watched the video I recorded, I loved the song, even with the crappy sound on my video. Heard things I hadn't heard before. I think the song is very catchy, very groovy. I hope full video with good audio comes along soon. I feel like I'm still waiting to hear the definitive, harder-hitting version of "Trespassing," but I really do love the lyrics of that song. Looking forward to meeting you, too, dancygeorgia! Misha - I LOVE YOUR VIDS ;D THANKS!

My grandpa never looked like this! I would like to meet some grandpas if they look like this now! brb- leaving my middle aged hubby for hawt grandpas! IKR - cause he's the hottest, sexiest, UNFiest grandpa I've ever seen. Didja see his moves in that gorgeous B&W outfit? The way those black pants settled down on his slim hips? etc.etc.etc. This was a dressy event and his look was perfect. Classy rock star Adam. *fans self* That's the right word - CLASSY! Perfect for this event!

Yay, Chokehold is my new Sleepwalker. that emotional stir i need every now and then. After watching Misha's video of Cuckoo, I like it more. I could hear more of Kevin's keys and a little less of drums, which was a good thing. Yes on Chokehold comment! Adn I love all of Adam's new treasures.

This is Lynday Parkers description of Cuckoo. I know we've all seen it before - just a revisit at this appropriate time:
""Cuckoo" - This is basically "If I Had You 2: Electric Boogaloo." It's the sound of Kylie Minogue, La Roux, and the Scissor Sisters chugging a case of Red Bull and then getting in a time machine set for 1977 and going to Studio 54, then getting back in that time machine, switching the dial to 1992, and heading to a rave. This is all a convoluted way of me saying that this hot track just makes me wanna dance, dance, dance. This is the jammmmm, people. "Cuckoo" is intelligent, sophisticated, unnervingly catchy electropop--as in, if it doesn't have some effect on you, then you must be dead from the neck up and/or waist down--and I will freely and dorkily admit that it had such an effect on me that one night when I was working late at the office, I merrily danced around the Yahoo! cubicle maze to it, all by myself. (I sincerely hope the security cameras weren't on.) Bonnie McKee, who co-penned most of Katy Perry's recent monster smashes ("Teenage Dream," "Last Friday Night," "California Gurls"), had a hand in this one too, and honestly, this monster is among her finest work. "Cuckoo" is just cuckoo-crazy-good, and it really ought to be Adam's next single. And I can't wait till I hear the remixes. Oh yes, there better be remixes."

Thank you all for the links and posts and sharing the experiences...
Sweater vest ? Well Adam is on the campaign trail. after all .....
Justin Timberlake often rocks the sweater vest... Adam just puts his own spin on it...
Thanks all for vids and the lyrics....

I only had time for a quick listen to Cuckoo before work this morning. The song was in my head all day! This song definitely has a hook! I love all the songs. I really love the funky sound. I agree with those that said BTIKM doesn't have the same feel as these songs. Can't wait for the album!!!!

I don't want to do the stuff I have to do, so now I'm just going to randomly blather on about Adam's outfit last night. I loved it. There's nothing he's worn that I haven't loved, though, because to him clothes are expression and his outfits, to me, are what he feels like "saying" (even when he's looked back and thought "augh!" which he says he has done - which, actually, kinda surprised me).
What does that outfit "say"? Of course, "sexy" - the V shape on top emphasizes his shoulders and whittles his waist. Those little notches on the vest look futuristic to me, Jetsons-ish, and the crisp white and also a little irridescent shirt says, "Special!" and "Pretty!" The pants slim fit says, "I'm so fit right now - juicing and I'm feeling gooood."
