Could simply be that a fan tweeted the link to him. Tommy is a champion retweeter if he finds something interesting he retweets. Fender and GuildGuitars are sponsors I think so if someone tweeted him the link to the fan vid he probably just took that one. Also the radio station vids have had problems, at least the Q&A vids. I didn't watch the performance vids on the site so I don't know if they were working. |

Just a reminder, please request BTIKM -- focus on your HAC station. It only needs about 12 more spins a day to get into the Top 20. With 55 monitored HAC stations in the US playing it, that should be a piece-of-cake for us to do. And it will really help Single #2 if BTIKM is a top 20 song. Count on us ... voting and requesting is like a tedious yet joyous tithe for Atops because we can SEE it makes a difference. Wish I knew what to do to light a fire under the South Florida stations other than the reg. contacts. Do they really have no interest in GNAFL? Wish he would make a promo visit here and blow their minds like he does everywhere else! My suggestion is to request locally and politely -- then help out with requests in Chicago, Philly and other markets that welcome out-or-market requests. We just need 12 spins a day and we can get that from 4 or 5 stations. I hear now that artists do perform new music before their albums are released. Thanks! I wish I could get inside Adam's head..(don't we all)..  Adam has kept such a tight lid on this whole CD. It has been delayed a number of times for Adam to perfect his vision. And biz stuff. Adam is known for being a perfectionist. He has spoken SO many times about all the special funk, synth, electronica effects..especially with Trespassing...that make the songs unique. In other venues recently where he introduced a new single other than BTIKM, we got no video (or weren't supposed to..lol) Correct me here if I got this one wrong. To me, unveiling three new songs in one evening is noteworthy. Allowing vids, surprising. Not including BTIKM was odd, but it was an uptempo set. Does this seem like Adam??? In my ear, the production of Trespassing, especially, seems vital to the totality of its sound. What I am hearing is like a studio cut. One layer. I tend to think some packages shouldn't be unwrapped before Christmas..this raw version of Trespassing does nothing for me. Sorry. That's what I meant earlier about trying to finish a puzzle only to find many pieces missing. Like I was listening to the shells of songs. It also makes me wonder if they have chosen another single for Trespassing besides these 3 songs. What else explains this? Just doesn't seem like Adam to roll-out this number of songs in such a haphazard manner. One more..are we having a funeral for BTIKM?..I went to the numbers thread and now today here..is BTIKM really not doing decently? I thought I read if it gets a few more spins, it will be in the top 20? Did I read wrong? Not being sarcastic..just asking. My gut feeling is that something messed with the initial release of Trespassing...and now it is all going wonky..why continue promo of a song for the rest of the month if it is dead? You may all have a crack at me now, so that I may be enlightened, cause I am one confused Momma at this point...  |

Tommy looked a bit nervous here and he's facing sideway most of the time. Honestly, he played the same as Kevin to my ear since I am not a band person. Love the BTIKM remix but I think the theme/mood of BTIKM is more suited for Dr Luke's production, a song meant to expose the inner self. Still enjoying the new songs, can't wait for the Album to drop  |

Today's posts made me notice one thing I had not noticed. Adam has done unreleased songs at the events that were non-RCA events.
The radio promo tour is a great way to build support for Adam from radio -- it is a more traditional route than the straight to TV path of FYE -- and should pay off with more airplay in the end.
I love all 3 new Adam songs.
Everything else about this new album cycle is a bit mysterious to me. But no two album launches are the same.

No, vivlite. BTIKM defintiely is not dead. It is doing quite nicely on HAC and will most certainly make Top 20. The numbers for CHR this weekend will be interesting to see. The move there has been very slow and because he is not Top 50, we don't get to see the updates. Someone at Pulse posts them once a week (Sat. or Sun.) and I have been checking all day to see if he has done that yet. Not yet :( |
