Hey Guys, Charity Water $66,630- 21 days left What's our plan? Are we still going for the unrelease day? I know it's a ways off, however, we should be slowly but surely spreading the word and building support. Should we challenge all of fandom to see if we can crash the site again? peace&love Two good days have been mentioned - the un-release day and Sauli's birthday (not sure exactly when that is - the 27th give or take a day?). Great idea to spread the word. Then maybe do both days if needed. Are there other forums that would be up to a challenge of some sort? And rather than encourage big donations (they are ok, of course), maybe the challenge could be the number of donations, winner calculated on % of registered members on a given day. The grand prize? Was it a twitter party w/Adam for Donors Choose? That was pretty cool... Bet he'd go for that. ;D Sauli's birthday is the 28th.

Should we challenge all of fandom to see if we can crash the site again? peace&love The last campaign just sort of happened -- with no pre-planning or organization. We raised $13,722 which was very impressive and really moved the needle. If we want to do another campaign -- I am on board to support it in any way I can. But someone else needs to start now and organize it, and put together a committee of fans from here and elsewhere to promote it. I would recommend one campaign lasting from 3/20/12 until the goal is reached. It will take 500 to 1,000 contributions to get to the goal. I would just keep it simple and just push to hit the $100,000 target. I am willing to organize an online auction to raise some of the money (and plan to do that in any case.) If anyone wants to volunteer put together a new campaign please PM me. Thanks!

but Jezebel wasn't particularly meant to be a station promo, was it? It was a private party for a magazine, although there was a radio DJ involved as a host and a few tickets given away by that station. I feel like I've seen a fair number of songs leaked first in youtube live versions, but they rarely get covered above the low level gossip/pop blogs unless it's a really big name star. If you look at the hit counts on the Jezebel videos, they have probably been noticed by the hardcore fandom, but not outside it. I was not clear at all -- more accurately -- I find it odd that Adam did not do the single he was in the midst of doing a radio promo tour to promote at an event that was being promoted by a radio station and that was set up to be a PR event for Jezebel. Granted the song is a bit slow for a party event. The Jezebel event was a private event and not connected to RCA -- and it was the fourth private event where Adam has done some new music - in Montreal, Austria and Vail, and now in Atlanta. (I may have missed some.) --- I agree with you on the coverage of the 3 New Songs -- 31 online news articles about them and viewcount on videos is mostly just core fans -- Cuckcoo has about 35K views on YT (top 4 videos) and I found it on many other video services - so it might move beyond but I sort of doubt most people will notice. I was wondering given Adam's rebel spirit and the in the box Label thinking. Could there be any chance that if Adam wanted to stray outside of the box and test/prove a point that would be hard to demonstrate otherwise he would take an underground approach for taking control and releasing demos for the songs he is rallying for? Say if the label wanted the B Mars song and Adam feels differently. Not sure if this is getting my pondering across but hope so:-) The positive response to the new music is so great and may help give leverage...

But it could just be Adam is really proud of the new music and wants to perform it. He performed OOL in Montreal and that was long before any singles were considered.

So, a few days ago there was this big twitter storm about some fans who were more lively during the interview section at a Houston radio station and as far as I observed, this one poor lady was totally chewed out on twitter for being a bit more forward and loud. I thought it was all harmless and was glad to have an interactive audience there, but clearly others were disturbed. Now we get this video, where the whole performance from Adam is disturbed by folks who clearly think that their voices are more important to hear on radio than Adam's : ......and nobody says a peep? To me, THIS is rude...and utterly unreasonable. This is not your private living room guys, where you can sing away as you please, I want to hear Adam not you. So, I have no idea why people are not disturbed by this, but are outraged at that one woman in Houston....clearly I am missing something... This is a fan-made video and that is the sound of people having fun and singing along....which Adam has often said he really enjoys. When the vid comes from the station/venue you do not hear much audience noise at all. One viable option may be that you would prefer restricting your viewing to official or professional vids and then this would not be an issue. I love singing along so it does not bother me at all...like to hear the happiness and excitement actually. I liked that about the other one too. Most live performances are loud enough that you don't realize you can even be heard by a nearby mic. If people that record these shows continue to be criticized and put down, I would expect we will see less and less of them....I know it is something I would absolutely not do...not worth the angst.

Q3: Yes I would too think he is proud and wanting to perform new music. Just wondering if the suits are thinking about The Mars song (you know name, prestige... for that) and Adam desires one of his own co-written songs out there instead - All speculation but with all the talk about picking a next single and the late BM addition and then him performing those particular three songs and not including BTIKM - did Adam co-write on those three? I am thinking so... always more questions than answers:-)
