I am really excited after hearing chokehold and cuckoo. This album feels like it has a deeper foundation of Adam in it.
Interesting perspective from NoAngel on strategy.
My view is that its not fundamentally a planned change. I think Adam's taking a break from the gliitterama and exploring other things fundamentally because he feels like it. He's focused on a grounding relationship, being healthy, and being balanced. And his clothes in his private life have changed as well. They have an "edgy organic" stamp.
I dont think the glitter's gone away for ever, just taking a backseat so other aspects of this very expressive man can have some airtime.
