I loved the Tommy discussion on these pages I'm waiting for that live chat thingy to start, so... I'm one of those Adam fans that want to know everything about him and that are interested in people in his life. Sorry 'bout that When I watch Adam's radio performances, I have eyes only for him, but on repeat views I try to pay attention to everything. Tommy didn't mess up any performance. There was a slight hesitation once whether he should start the song or not. It was funny. He's very shy and quiet, he looks like he's uncomfortable up there , his body is slightly turned away from Adam, he throws these quick, nervous glances at Adam, he yawns, fidgets, scratches, bites his lips, he freaks out when directly addressed, he looks sulky, almost never smiles... and I LOVE HIM FOR ALL THESE THINGS. I know, right, it's ridiculous, but he's just weird and corky and I love it. I also like Kevin, he's kind of nice. Actually, I think Adam's band is amazing, all members totally different from one another, and all of them have this one quality which connects them and make me like them: they've all been Adam approved.

[revives slightly] Traded a "no picture" request for TWO hugs AND and a ~super sneaky autograph of my red-spined, 1st edition, Acoustic Live CD !!! [grins evily] * Fresh FM girl: "No autographs allowed - we have pre-printed pics for you" * Me: [thinks fast] 'My first and maybe only meet-n-greet....gonna try.....' * [holds CD next to coat, with pen already uncapped] * [grins at Adam, bats eyelashes, "This is my first time meeting you EVER [quietly shows off CD] Pleeeeeeze!" * [Adam grins, opens up DC, pulls cover out of jewel case and signs actual cover] * [gets my SECOND hug, and then both schufly and I talk to him about Sonisphere for waaaay past our alloted time!] EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEe!!! How absolutely fantabulous!!!

Hi guys !!!!!! just posting here , to say on the "Tommy Vs. Kevin" thingie : Kevin seems to have more musical education and expirience IMO , He plays keys and guitar , and he is a musical director , so , is just natural that maybe he doesn't get "nervous" or "mess" up while playing music live . Tommy , on the other hand , I think I read somewhere that learnt to play guitar himself ( correct me please if I'm wrong) and that first auditioned for adam's band to play guitar . then he was told that the guitar place was taken . but that he could play bass . he then bought a bass and started training . And he pulled it off !!!! Don't hate on Tommy . In my very honest opinion , he played guitar just as good as Kevin , esp. in WWFM . And I play piano , so I have to have a good ear for that . (at least) AND , remember , Adam picked him for it . that means the must have skills . he's just nervous right now . give him time !!!!!! Sorry for the long post , hehe !!!!! Tommy was center stage for the entire glamnation tour, he's not a noob just plucked from obscurity and handed a guitar to play. He has experience and he's familiar with Adam and Adam's fans. I would think these intimate setting would be a piece of cake compared to playing an instrument he was unfamiliar with on a world wide tour. I just don't feel he's good enough to be lead guitar, not on an era that holds this much importance to Adam and his career.

What did he say about Sonisphere 2. He's a good hugger, right?? Hoppers, way to go! You meet once and you're not suppose to ask for autograph, what the heck is that? The whole promo tour is to make PR for Adam and his music. Did the right thing!! So how was the hugging????

I don't see what's wrong with the discussion of Adam's musicians. Surely that falls within the realm of "on topic" for this site? I don't believe Adam will have an inadequate musician in the role of lead guitarist. I like Tommy a lot and hope that he steps up and seizes this amazing golden career-making opportunity. If he doesn't, I have no doubt that Adam's loyalty would extend to helping Tommy out, either with a return to bass, to rhythm guitar, or to finding a gig with another more suitable band. My 2 cents. Hope it is a moot point, if for no other reason than I'd hate to have to endure the Twitter meltdown if Tommy was not selected to be a part of Adam's next tour. ETA: HOPPERS -- WOW TO EVERYTHING!
