Are you sure about this? It is awfully close to WWFM. I've seen reviews from music sites and radio that classify it as "mid-tempo", not "down-tempo".

ITA, Adam did not invent the good vs evil/light vs dark theme. If Carrie copied Adam, then Adam copied PINK! Carrie just showed up and put on whatever clothes they had for her to wear. I don't think she is a real "deep thinker". :-X

BTIKM is 82-83 BPM, WWFM is 92 BPM.

For popular compositions mid-tempo is usually at least 90 BPM.
But I do not think there is an official definition of mid-tempo.

There are many very specific definitions of tempo.
