By May’s invitation, he had just watched Queen in concert with lead singer Paul Rodgers – “A lot of people don’t know it but Paul Rodgers was one of Freddie Mercury’s rock heroes,” Mullen said. “They say he doesn’t sound like Freddie but that’s not the point. It’s about respect.” In the latest twist, Queen has tapped Adam Lambert to front the band once again, performing in July at England’s prestigious Sonisphere 2012.In the United Kingdom, “we were a little like ‘Adam who?’” Mullen said. “We don’t follow ‘American Idol’ as closely but I’ve heard he’s pretty awesome. We just don’t know much about him.”
But again, he said, it’s introducing new generations to the music.more...

AUSTRALIA REPRESENTS !!  Voted until I was locked out ......... Adam 53.8% Foster 46.2% .... hope we can hold onto or improve the lead before the baton is passed back to the day crew.
