Guys, could it be that Trespassing is , idk, too sassy or 'in your face' for the second single? I'm not a native speaker, so, no matter how well you know a foreign language, it's always difficult to detect , for example, irony, or cynicism, or undertones, or any kind of subtle innuendos. So, maybe I'm wrong about Trespassing. But I think it would be better if they (RCA, Adam, whoever does that) chose a more 'mainstream' Cuckoo. Or any other of the two remaining that are being considered ( the Bruno Mars collab and Naked Love?) for the second single. To conclude, (this is so formal, right:)), I have to profess my admiration for the amazing Fever and Trespassing performed today by the superb and oh-so-talented Adam Lambert and 'hello, am I good or what' Tommy Joe Ratliff. I think that you are right about Trespassing -- I think that Cuckoo or the Bruno Mars track are more likely to be the single. |

Having not heard Trespassing from the album yet, so far, it sounds like too much of a throwback style to be a good radio cut. The acoustic ones, I do not like at all. (Sorry :( )It reminds me of acoustic DTRH though, which I also don't like, even tho the album track of DTRH is one of my very favorites on the whole album. So a big thumbs up to Cuckoo from me (and Adam!)  And I love the Naked Love snippet! |

I haven’t read the entire thread yet, but regarding m&gs: Guess I should have given my ticket to a complete stronger off the street. Or should I have told The Russian Lady café owner when offered to come inside that I couldn’t do that because I am afraid of the fandom ridicule. :-/ No! I think most people are referring to the fans who win tickets to one radio show and then try for a couple more, and even travel to other cities to go to their third or fourth show. IMO, that is a little selfish. Going to a couple of shows in your listening area because you happened to be lucky enough to win twice or being lucky enough to be at the right place at the right time (like your situation) is not a problem. That's my take on the whole thing!  |

I cut anyone who has just lost a beloved pet some major, major slack. I know I have been completely certifiable when mine have died. He had that cat for 20 years...that's a huge loss, poor guy.
ETA: From page 26, post from fourcorners:
Just wanted to add something about Matty - he was talking all morning about how his 20 year old cat (Cocoa the Wonder Cat) passed away last night - so he may very well be feeling out of sorts today.
