Not caught up but I need to clarify something. I am NOT COMPARING ADAM TO BIEBER!!!!!!!
What I was apparently so clumsily doing was comparing the PERCEPTION of Bieber in regards to radio to the REALITY of Bieber's actual radio performance. I have repeatedly heard people talk about Bieber as if he is a huge RADIO star and was surprised when I started reading comments at Pulse that he is not all that hot shit on the radio charts. So I looked for myself.
The point was that the PERCEPTION of an artist is as or maybe more important than the actual REALITY of the statistics.

Don't be sad!  I think it is amazing that Adam's Charity Water page has raised almost $70k this time around. Even if it does not make its goal, it is not a failure, as any little bit helps. Look at Justin Biebers page, he has only raised 15K since 2/28. Oh I know. It IS all about the water after all. I would just love to see the goal reached, that's all. And I do think Adam's fans are amazingly generous. 8-) |

LOL I understood what you meant and I hope others understood that I AM NOT a Belieber, or whatever the hell they call themselves!  My point was that there are different factors in motion here, and those factors are all female and all under the age of 15. It's almost impossible to compete with this group! I KNOW- I lived through the NSYNC and Miley Cyrus years with my DD.  |

So...I emailed my sister (lives in Portland, our hometown) with the links of the places to register, tweet, email and call for Adam tickets. She's also a fan. Being the evil older sister she is, she just sent me an email back saying "thanks for the links -- if I win, i wonder who I should invite to come along". Evil, I tell you (LOL). Here's hoping we win! Since Seattle is being scorned, I would drive to Portland for this--and then I could visit my sister and say hi to her dogs, too... |
