My perception is that Adam has been gaining more gay male fans. This era he is definitely making a real effort to gain support.
I myself do not understand how gay men can love them some Britney, but not love Adam. i do think Adam's new toned down look will have more appeal to gay men.

There were tweets after the Clear Channel meetings in December. Adam met with Cumulus in Atlanta. And there have been some tweets about people hearing the music. Here is an example: dylansprague @dylansprague Radio geek, sports (NFL) geek, weather geek... all around geek? Boston • www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100001407966517dylansprague @dylansprague Reply Retweet Favorite • Open @adamlambert great to see u today... Enjoyed listening to the new stuff with you. Excited to hear the final mixes. All my best... Dylan Sprague Operations Manager / Program Director at Clear Channel RadioOperations Manager - Clear Channel Boston Program Director - Kiss 108 / Jam'n 945 So, we don't know if Adam has been playing his tracks for DJs and/or PDs at the last 20-30 radio stations he visited on this radio tour? I just pulled the last tweet that I recalled. There are others -- some posted on page 1 of the news. Others in the threads. Check Dallas and Nashville -- mentions of the new music at both. Is it all or some - I have no idea. And there was a specific visit to NY in December.

LOL I think SusieFierce and I posted the same article at the same time!!! <hugs SusieFierce> Thanks both of you for posting the article. And I get the point that it was 2 months before the album release and that they played some tracks from her upcoming album at the parties. And that is not totally unusual -- although the KP listening parties were a bit unusual. If they were previewing the music video for Adam's new single tonight and having a huge bash, then I would expect to see major execs. from RCA there and celebrity friends, and people who worked on the album, and press, and music/entertainment industry execs. ETA: I am not sure what the disagreement is about -- the original point is I have no idea who was invited and what this event was intended to be or who attended so I do not understand how people can be disappointed. The big point seems to have gotten lost in the fray. Ok lost here - I guess some event happened and some gay people were there and people took that to mean it was a gay listening party even though they didn't know actual purpose of the event or who else was there and so made some "assumes" (and we know what they make us) and here we are... does that about cover it?

Pretty much -- What is important is that I still do not see any reason to be disappointed in last night's event because I have no idea what the event objective was or if it was achieved. The rest is just stuff.

I woke up 2 hours early today because I had a weird dream and lay there for a while trying to resolve any issue that might be related to the dream. Decided to get up and drink my coffee and check out Atop. Good thing because this is now my motto for the day.
