OT but;
It has just struck me that the 'Trespassing' lyrics are a perfect message to Queen fans who don't want Adam singing with Queen.

I wonder if BTIKM will have moved up from #15 on VH1 Top 20 tomorrow. I've been getting in 60 votes per day on 3 browsers, but this 24 cycle is irritating. I find myself voting later & later every day. I'm hoping for another iTunes bump if it moves up several spots!

You know, I barely know anything about radio, but I wonder if all of these radio meet and greets and promo, is anything like Adam's GNT tour. Back in January, it was said that Adam was going to do a small radio tour in February. But ever since he started the tour, they just seem to keep adding more and more dates. He was already in SF, and now they're bringing him back. It seems like he's just keep getting more and more dates. I wonder if it's partially for radio support as well as radio people wanting him due to the talk behind the scenes and buzz among fans. Good question! This is also something I've been wondering about. I have wondered if word has been spreading that Adam is available and willing to do these radio events, AND that the stations are getting such an amazing response from their listeners. Stations want to offer events that draw more attention and listeners to their station, and having Adam must be paying off for them. I agree, the "small radio tour" has turned into a cross country radio bonanza! LOL If I understood correctly what you're both saying I don't think this is the case. It was never planned to be a small tour and then expanded. The 18 cities radio promo was planned. Shoshanna's press announcement when the Fault mag came out was specific about it. I think that we don't know all the cities yet because the rs are waiting till almost the last days to announce it. |

I bet it is. ;D Nice to hear from Sauli again.  I love it how he's so comfortable and happy in his life... and I love the way he writes in finnish, it always makes me smile! I hope we get to see some of those party pics too.  Oh, I would really like if he wrote in English, sorry girls :( Because I love his blogs, and then I have to wait for the wonderful Miachihu and Zinnia to translate. Translating is not an easy job at all, they are doing it amazingly, out of sheer love and enthusiasm. So, it would be easier for them, and I wouldn't have to wait as much Sauli has a pretty unique way of saying some things and that doesn't always translate (for finns: like when he called Adam "mun miekkonen", awww that was almost too silly and cute!! ;D) so you know the best solution would be if everyone would just learn how to speak finnish!! (just kidding.  ) |

Bring music back into my life
Sharing his voice and artistry with us
Supporting important causes
His enabling me to connect on a special level with my granddaughter
Etc.
I realized I had no time to do any of that so I tried to think fast (not easy for me and especially near Adam’s incredible presence.) What was on the top on my list and could also incorporated several ideas. So, after they took the picture I looked at him and said,
“I want to thank you for championing people who don't get championed. " I sort of stumbled over this and may have added something like "especially in the celebrity centered world", but he gave me a thumbs up. A wonderful memory for me.
Advice to those going to see Adam: be organized beforehand and share what is closes to your heart. You may be able to chat more but at least you shared your most important thoughts. |

Seems like the the Chicago visits to B96 and KISS were strictly about getting Adam in the door to meet the radio peeps (and hopefully play some new stuff). I don't think these two stops were advertised at all.
Has anyone heard about how things at WTMX went? OK, so some info is in---really hope they post SOMETHING on their website. If you aren't on twitter you would have no idea Adam was even there.
