I am going to guess Kris is on 5/17 (or the finale). He will be on after Adam I bet. Right now, I am going to guess that Adam is on 5/10. Carrie Underwood's album drops 5/1, so I bet she will have the 5/3 date. Q3, It has already been confirmed that Adam will be on. (Shirley Halperin, I think) Someone at RCA (?) sent out a tweet saying that Kris would be on AI sometime in April. She has since deleted her tweet. |

(Shirley Halperin, I think) Adam confirmed the Idol appearance himself in a couple of interviews. Just not the date - he said he does not have the date yet. i only hope that Adam will bring the second single and NOT BTIKM...so the later he is on, the better is the chance for the new single IMO... |

Good question! This is also something I've been wondering about. I have wondered if word has been spreading that Adam is available and willing to do these radio events, AND that the stations are getting such an amazing response from their listeners. Stations want to offer events that draw more attention and listeners to their station, and having Adam must be paying off for them. I agree, the "small radio tour" has turned into a cross country radio bonanza! LOL If I understood correctly what you're both saying I don't think this is the case. It was never planned to be a small tour and then expanded. The 18 cities radio promo was planned. Shoshanna's press announcement when the Fault mag came out was specific about it. I think that we don't know all the cities yet because the rs are waiting till almost the last days to announce it. Maybe the number of cities stayed the same, but maybe not the amount of radio stations that were to be done in that city. Wasn't there one station in Texas that wasn't going to originally have Adam on, but heard that he was going to be in town, and had him come and do a meet and greet at their station? |

You know, I barely know anything about radio, but I wonder if all of these radio meet and greets and promo, is anything like Adam's GNT tour. Back in January, it was said that Adam was going to do a small radio tour in February. But ever since he started the tour, they just seem to keep adding more and more dates. He was already in SF, and now they're bringing him back. It seems like he's just keep getting more and more dates. I wonder if it's partially for radio support as well as radio people wanting him due to the talk behind the scenes and buzz among fans. Good question! This is also something I've been wondering about. As soon as the first station in Portland announced he was coming to town I emailed promotions at the other stations asking if Adam was visiting them because I heard he would be 'in town'. I didn't get an answer back but a week or two later these in town stations announced events with him too... I wonder how much was planned from the beginning and how much is being added organically with Adam/RCA wanting to hit as many bases as possible. |

OMG Someone DID ask him about Persephone and Greek mythology at another radio station!! And I fucking loved his response!!
Or maybe it wasn't a fan that was actually at a M & G?
Perhaps they asked him one of the written questions?
Because I DID send that question EVERYWHERE LOL!

Until someone from Idol says or Adam himself says he will be on on X/XX I assume it could change. 5/10 would be great but.....we'll see. There are so many ways they could schedule it. Kris fans say he will be in April. I do not know the source for this. But we will know soon enough. Well we'll know eventually!!  |

Oh, I want Adam to be on week of May 8th!!!
On May 8, 2009, the Mayor of San Diego declared it Adam Lambert Day. In 2010 and 2011, fans trended #LambertDay to celebrate.
That would make it ADAM LAMBERT WEEK THIS YEAR!!!!

This is a good point. Yes this might have happened. When they see the response they get from the fans, it is very possible. That's why perhaps today we had 4 rs instead of the 2 we knew. |
