What interview was that? I remember others calling it a duet and Adam correcting them but I don't think I ever heard Adam call it a duet. I thought he was correcting people who were calling his collaboration with Bruno Mars a duet? I have a memory of Adam referring to his work with Sam Sparro as a duet in some Q&A (when someone asked if there would be any duets on the CD), but I've seen so many interviews that I wouldn't begin to know where to find it. I also could be remembering it completely wrong! But Adam did tweet this about a month ago: "Rumor control: no duets have been recorded except for Sam Sparro's feature on "Shady". Bruno has WRITTEN a song for the album. : ) #factcheck" In my mind, I probably translated "except for" as him calling it a duet, and that stuck with me. But based on every other description of the song, I figure Sam sang backing vocals or maybe "dueted" with Adam on the chorus or something. Yay, hoopla! So happy for you. Ok, so here you get in to the argument about whether a "Feature" is a "Duet". I don't think they are necessarily the same thing. Often a "feature" is just a name credited back ground vocal. I believe there was another interview where Adam said Sam sang on the chorus. Not sure about that. But until we hear the song I don't know that I would label it a duet. I think he mentioned it when asked about duet's because it will be a name credited vocal and maybe the only other voice besides Adam's on the album. The question session today seems to hark back to that actually duet he talked about in one of the UK interviews where he was crossing his fingers that it would happen. Maybe because of the delay there is still a chance they will get it in time. Perhaps it is still being set up or if not recording together (which is common these days) maybe they haven't gotten the other person's part back and don't know if it will come in time to make the record. I think it may actually be about the only surprise left at this point unless Adam is better at keeping secret's than he lets on. |

NOOO, I wanted to order an issue of the "Dorian" magazine with Adam and it's "temporary sold out"!!!   But they have a waiting list so I wrote an e-mail to them and now I keep my fingers crossed that I will be so fortunate to get a copy later! :-[ Hopefully you'll be able to get a copy  .....but seriously, that's SO COOL isn't it? Magazine sellouts can only mean more magazine covers for Adam. ;D (I ordered my copy last week) |

Okay, told my daughter, who lives in SLC that I will come up and visit her if she can get us tickets to Adam promo, LOL... Then I cOuld see lots of my favorite people in the world: my daughter, my grandson and Adam.

Yeah, I know it's not up to him. We've always known that. The point is that RCA hasn't named a date when other artists (some international) have dates in May inked. Why can't they just do it and make the rest happen? They do it for everything else. Doing all this promo with no concrete date is just getting ridiculous. Having such a vague message is NOT good PR. It comes off as disorganized and as if there are internal problems, IMO. BTW, I don't think that is the case at all, but that's because I watch and listen to most interviews. People who DON'T follow as closely won't realize that. Already people were RTing tweets this morning from fans who had NO IDEA the date changed and that "Trespassing" would not be out tomorrow. (And some of these were from people with Adam avis.) There are MANY even invested fans that don't follow as closely as we do and I'm sorry, it's really sounding disorganized at this point. Even the Fresh website in NY had the drop date listed as March 20 this weekend. Thanks Gelly, I was listening w/one earbud at work and must've missed it. I thought I heard whole interview, but maybe not. Re the bold parts: Something smells fishy to me, interview after interview of IDKs, although Adam does make the best of the situation, being as charming and sweet as ever about it. IDK Qs: When will the album drop? / What is the second single? / Is there going to be a duet on the album? / also all touring related Qs Not too many questions, but they are of vital importance. It sounded like the album is further from being finished than I thought... It seems that the final song selection is not done, he was just doing more studio work.... so- back to  I am setting my expectations for beginning of June at the moment... he can't go much later than that as he needs to work with Queen... or we are looking at mid-July... |
