I’m barging into the thread out of order because someone tweeted me that my video was posted on ATOP a couple of hours ago. I just wanted you to know it was mine. I took it at Adam’s 107.3 Fresh FM radio promo held at Gibson’s on Monday, last week. I had a camera glitch and it defaulted to VLC, so I had to convert it to MP4. and remember how to upload to Youtube. Robinny uploaded OOL for me in Ste Agathe, and I couldn’t remember how to do it at first. Anyway, there are already so many BTIKM vids out there, that I didn’t want to spam here. I like my vid because Gibson’s stage was bathed in natural light, and Adam looks very natural. FWIW, the sound is “authentic” from my camera. I'm a "vocals" person, and really wanted to hear Adam close up, in a small room, just once. It was worth the many hours of listening to the radio, phoning, Facebook liking to hear him that way. I didn’t even win a ticket in the end, but another Glambert took me as her +1. A bonus was that I was one of the five people without tickets who was let into the Hamilton Nightclub (94.7FM) that evening at the last moment. And afterwards, as Hoppers, Shufly and RJacksPF have written, Tommy McFly was great to talk to at dinner. What a day! Kanadie is going to Moscow? Wow! Who else is going? I'm weeks behind in my Adam stanning on Atop, so out of the loop. We're planning super party in the Knebworth meet-up thread, though. this video is great! Thank you!! |

Re the bold parts: Something smells fishy to me, interview after interview of IDKs, although Adam does make the best of the situation, being as charming and sweet as ever about it. IDK Qs: When will the album drop? / What is the second single? / Is there going to be a duet on the album? / also all touring related Qs Not too many questions, but they are of vital importance. I see it differently. What is the second single? Why on earth would he start talking about a 2nd single when he's actively on promo singing his first single and it's still climbing the charts and the MV is moving up on VH1 and they're clearly still committed to it? That would be like saying they're done with it and obviously they're not. Maybe fans are ready for a new single but BTIKM still has legs. Is there going to be a duet on the album? LOL if there's a duet it's obviously going to be a closely-kept secret and if it's a big name there will be a huge announcement about it and lots of media attention, etc etc. So, #1 I think Adam does know whether there is one or not, #2 if the answer was "no" he would probably not hesitate to say so (therefore I'm guessing there is one), and #3 there's no way that Adam is going to tell some random fan or random DJ in the middle of the country the big news about a duet. Which would obviously create a distraction from what he's doing right now. When will the album drop? Well, as soon as Adam said Maypril I figured it was May for sure, so I'm actually happy to hear that he's mentioning May. Again, if they're still sorting out the international logistics (and obviously they are even based on Shoshanna's tweet Sunday) then they probably have it narrowed down to some 2-3 week range and are just waiting til things are in place. I have no doubt that once the date is set, we'll have a promo blitz and Adam will be everywhere (including on Idol) letting everyone know when the album will drop. Maybe it's because I had a lovely 4-day weekend, but I'm feeling pretty zen about things  but.. but.. on the online chat Adam said we're getting really close to 2nd single.. :-/ :-/ Well.. I think the album will be released in first or 2nd week of May, since he's going to be on AI. So it will be a good promotion for the single (which ever that will be) ;D and the album too... and to drop Queen's name when he's on AI stage.. LOL hhm.. do you think Nigel would want Ryan to ask about Queen concert??? It's actually a great promotion for AI, one of his alumn actually will be the lead singer for Queen for a couple of concerts and off course to smack down the Voice & X Factor.. ;D ;D |

I was lucky to win passes to a local radio station (99.7 The Point) meet n' greet here in Kansas City today. It was absolutely amazing! This was my first time meeting Adam and I managed to grab a seat in the front. Tommy was with him too. He was hella funny during the Q & A session (he answered one of my questions-I was soooo nervous) and he performed BTIKM, WWFM and.... Cuckoo! It was his first time performing it acoustically and he kicked a$$!!! It sounded great and I'm sure he'll be adding it to his promo performances now on. It seemed like everyone there was getting into it, myself included. And he didn't edit himself either (yay!). At the end, we took pictures in pairs (if we had a guest). I gave him hug and chatted with him very briefly and thanked him for all that he does for us, etc. He was soooo sweet (and gorgeous). Sorry if my post is sooo scattered...I'm still trembling with excitement. Ahhhhhh!!!! I would be super excited too!  |
