:-/ :-/ Major fan fail. You have the opportunity to ask some great questions of Adam, in person, and suddenly, your mind is a blank. Nada. C'mon people. Didn't you check out the list of questions we have here? Didn't you make a list of 10 great questions to ask Adam? Sigh.
But, the sound for those two songs was wonderful. His voice was pure liquid sunshine. Love that!

Watched the stream of Adam in Utah.. A question, do you think most DJs take a test for being obnoxious before they are able to get radio jobs.Is it a requirement??Just saying. There are so few of them that I actually like.

I woke up with Naked Love in my head. Have been dancing around to it for the last few hours. I just love this song. I think that it captures another part of his personality, in as much as Trespassing is fierce, and Cuckoo is so full of swagger. Naked Love is all happy, cupcakes and rainbows. I love it, even though I think it's a bit of a departure from Trespassing. I think in order of progression, it should be Trespassing, which is so funky, then Cuckoo which is funky but pop dancey, then you have Naked Love which is all pop dancey. Or release Naked Love, Cuckoo then Trespassing. Or Cuckoo, then the third could be either or. I loved Cuckoo when I first heard the live version, and still love it, but the studio is lacking that bass/guitar rhythm of the live version. The snippet is an unfinished copy.. so if you like this snippet, imagined what the sounds will be on the finished track.... i'm pretty sure the finished track will be sounded like the live version only much much betterer |

Adam Lambert was in Atlanta earlier this month as part of a radio promo tour, and I had the opportunity to briefly meet him. Now, I’ve met my fair share of celebrities in the past; it’s one of the perks, if you will, in working in entertainment journalism. I can’t say I’ve ever been quite as excited about meeting a celebrity as I was about meeting Adam, though. Seriously. I’m shocked I wasn’t speechless when I actually got to meet him. On top of that, after he posed for pictures with me and my boyfriend, we briefly talked about Atlanta nightlife and drag queens. It’s one of those incidents that just felt…surreal. So why would meeting this person in particular turn me into someone who squeals like a schoolgirl (something which, thankfully, only happened once I’d left Adam’s presence)? Maybe it’s because Adam’s more than just an entertainer to me. I don’t mean for this to sound like he’s taken on the form of a deity in my life. But Adam’s impact on my life feels…stronger than most entertainers. I am, of course, aware of Elton John’s decades-old out status, but…Elton’s a little too cranky for my liking. Adam, though…Adam’s pretty cool. He’s confident, charming and charismatic, but he also doesn’t put up with shit. I like that. And again, as much as I appreciate that in my favorite pop divas, there’s something more powerful about it coming from somebody who I can identify with more easily.more...
