Well, that was one of the best experiences of my life. I am euphoric. Adam sang BTIKM, Wwfm, and an adorable cuckoo completely unmiked, no mikes anywhere at all. It was amazing. I was front row center. He was the most casual and relaxed I've ever seen him... He did a q& a like hoopla got...just took questions and chatted with us all for about 30 min! I felt like I was having a conversation with him. When my dd and I took pics with him he spread his arms out and said, "My girls." We are now out to dinner and a movie, the most fun mother daughter night. More later so I'm not ignoring her.  Congrats lynne and thanks for sharing |

So ro-o-oll the dice . . .
Damn, I just don't know anymore. Been listening nonstop. "Trespassing," "Cuckoo," "Naked Love"--love them all and I'd be very happy with any of those selections for next single. I'm gathering darts to throw at the wall.
If push came to shove, I'd go with my first gut instinct and choose "Cuckoo" (my brain and body still sigh "that's the one" when I hear it), but I don't think there's a bad choice among those three.
I suppose RCA could totally dismiss those three songs and go with NCOE instead (please, Universe, no), but when so many critics in the UK have blatantly told them that "Cuckoo" is the way to go, how can they ignore that if they want success in that market, especially since international success seems to play a part in their strategy for breaking barriers in the U.S. If they go with a song like NCOE for the next single, which doesn't seem to me to be the best fit for the UK, then how can RCA be surprised if Radio One, etc., doesn't play it? To me, it would just be crazy to pick it.
In lieu of any other evidence, I'm going to jump to conclusions and take the fact that Adam didn't sing the "fuck" in "Cuckoo" today to mean that he's starting to train himself not to sing the word for upcoming live television performances. (I suppose radio stations could have asked him not to say it because they don't want to broadcast that word in videos online, but I'm going to grasp at my straws.)
