I'm not angsting....we've got three or four songs up for contention for the next single. All of them are extraordinary! Other fan groups can only hope to be so lucky! I would like to congratulate Adam Lambert for his insight into how his fans hearts and minds work.... as the album did not come out on March 20th... he diverted our angst to figuring out which is the next single.... kept us focused on the prize that will soon be ours on May 15..... If the Adam fans' mental waves / angst/ chatter/ handwringing/ agonizing/ can be bottled and stored and redirected as electricity , we could power up the US of A for a year..... You are all amazing in whatever mental state you are in !

Yes. Yes it is. Here's my recap of the night. I probably have forgotten much of it but Emily and Abriton will fill in the holes. The Bing was very full and you could not get in without a ticket. I think they actually overbooked. Adam came out to great applause and looked just marvelous. He had on more make-up than he has in recent days but maybe this was because this was an evening appearance. From streams and you tubes already up, you can see he was wearing his beautiful blue shirt with the sweater vest. Black tight pants. The DJ wasn't too bad and he is an Adam fan. I don't know if you picked up the audience reaction, but there was great applause for the three songs. I was only disappointed that we didn't get to hear Trespassing instead of WWFM, but since this is an audience of contest winners, many probably haven't stayed in touch with his music since Idol. Tommy was trying to get the audience to pick "Trespassing". We only were able to submit written questions and I liked the one about the burning house and what he would save. This was submitted by the crying girl in the front who got to read the question to Adam. They kept mentioning her and Adam was telling her to just take a deep breath. What a sweetheart. After the singing, we all lined up and in groups of 4, we had a picture with Adam. Yeah, I made a beeline to be the inside (Sorry Em for running you over for that spot!). I asked for a hug and he said "of course". Then my brain may have gone numb because I forgot all my carefully rehearsed statements. I managed to blurt out "Is it Trespassing for the next single" and he said it hasn't been decided. A week ago, I would have bet money it was Trespassing but now I don't know. Guys, it may be NCOE. This is a beautiful song and I am beginning to like it a lot. I am floating on Cloud 9. Very happy to meet Emily and see Abriton again. Aww, I'm so happy you guys were there! It looked so awesome on the Ustream, and your question was great and Adam gave a great answer. #1 Sauli (awwww!) and #3 the python boots (LOL!)

Wow - I think it's been a looong week or three - I hope people take this the right way, but "expertise" is not the end all and be all. The people who listen to music on the radio and buy singles and albums, especially casual fans or newbies, aren't into analyzing vocal quality, tonal depth, etc, etc, etc. They hear something, it catches their fancy, and that's it. I think there will be a number of songs on this album that will do well based on what we've heard so far. And I quite like NCOE as well as the others. Different songs for different moods. Just like I have on my ipod right now - back to my hidey hole :-) Exactly. And who knows, maybe they were SMART to go with BTIKM first in the US, WHERE A ROOMFULL OF MOSTLY(?) CASUAL FANS JUST YELLED TO HEAR WWFM OVER HIS NEW MUSIC! Maybe that's all some of his fans who are ~less involved know of him since AI. So BTIKM perhaps DOES serve as the bridge to Era2--but FUCK I am so ready for ADAM SONGS to be hits on the radio. I just don't know which one I would choose for #2. BTIKM and NCOE wouldn't be my #1 and #2, though! But JUST ONCE I want ADAM to choose singles based on what HE LOVES. (I guess he did choose FYE--but give the guy a second chance, already. And I love that song. Shoulda been a hit.)

I'm not questioning Angelina's glambert status. I'm wondering why she's saying that BTIKM isn't a good choice for a single in the UK when it has been made amply clear that they are not releasing BTIKM in the UK? Is she just agreeing with that decision? Ummm, because we asked her? We asked her what she thought of the snippets and which she thought would work best in the UK. She just responded as someone who lives in the UK, who is familiar with what is being played on Radio 1 and 2, and who has talked to other peeps in the UK, Adam fans and non-fans. Just like us, she and the Glambrits are eager to have Adam embraced in their country and talk about how that can happen. So, I would say she has the same credentials as most of us. I just want to add one more thing and then I will let this drop. I invited Angelina to join our Atlanta party via Skype. She graciously agreed to do so. She called in at 11 pm UK time, and talked with us for an hour and a half! This after just returning home from her own performance that evening. She was delightful, and answered so many of our questions about Adam, his voice and his performance. It was a real treat for all of us. THANK YOU, ANGELINA.
