She is a young actress, actually the name is Ellen Page, who played on Juno, Inception and Whip it. And she got an Oscar nomination for Juno. All three great movies. I wanted to add a pitch for EP in 'Hard Candy' - even if it's not for everyone. ETA: Of course, if Adam actually has a crush on Elaine Paige, nvm. She is also awesome, if a bit cranky. I just went to imdb to find the title Hard Candy... what an amazing movie and you are right about it not being for everyone because I have recommended it to friends and they come back like ...WTF! But I personally thought she was incredible and have watched her movies since. |

I want to say he's mentioned Ellen Page before as an actress he likes so I'm pretty sure it's Ellen and not Eliane.

What? I am confused, did Adam mean Ellen Page or Elaine Paige? Two completely different people! LOL. I would bet money that it is the Ellen/Elaine that he misspelled, not the Paige! lolol It makes FAR more sense that he would crush on Elaine Paige...she is a monster in musical theatre.... It makes far more sense to me that it would be Ellen Page. She is adorable! And the type of someone he would have a "crush" on. I don't see him having a crush on Elaine, admiring, yes. But a crush? No. If it was Elaine, he would tweet something about her voice or her music. |

PS....i really do like Ellen Page and enjoyed Hard Candy as well as the more mainstream offerings. She is pretty darn amazing.

JMO but RCA has dropped the ball on so many things that it's beyond ridiculous and as someone who has followed Kelly Clarkson since the beginning I can tell you almost guarantee the things that have gone RIGHT aren't because of RCA or Ed for that matter. They are because ADAM knows what the hell HE is doing and the outcome that HE wants and how to achieve that outcome. RCA is notorious for fucking shit up. IMO Ed has no business being in charage if he doesn't have the maturity and professionalism to communicate with the fans better. As a matter of course you NEVER want to alienate your CORE market. Yes there are difficult fans but those IMO are easily dismissed and ignored. ED isn't a child and this isn't a game. This is Adam's career and while the fans certainly aren't experts they sure do seem to have some great ideas and listening to those ideas, even if they are never used, doesn't seem that difficult to me. Perhaps establishing a "suggestion" forum for the fans to vent in would be good. I love this post so much, so reasonable, even though I know nothing about the biz! |

RCAEd could have said something like "we're taking that into consideration" or other professional brush-off tactic. But I, for one, highly appreciated indybeck's request. I don't know who this dude is because I don't go to the official sites because anything "official" scares me, but yeah he should have some canned statements such as: It's not that deep! Glitter wearing monkey are working on that just as we speak! Will get right on that as soon as Tommy stops humping my leg. I know you are but what am I!!! The glambulge says "outlook not so good". I'd really like to but the glamponcho has put me into a state of deep depression. Whataya want from me? OMG...............LOL forever! I love these |

well at least you made me laugh but i still find the repeated "suggestions" sickening. Everyone has different tolerance levels for different things. I have less of an issue with fans suggesting ways to help Adam become more successful (as long as they are respectful and not abusive) than I do with fans who stalk him, his family and/or his friends into their real lives in hopes of feeling personally connected. You're on a roll! |
