Adam is wildly successful,His name is known around the world,He's been up for a Grammy,He has had two great singles ,sold out tours around the world, is now about to launch his second album, he's in magazines all over the planet and he's appearing with Queen. I call this amazing, how many artists have this kind of visibility. Radio is part of the equation, not all of it. How many singers are played on radio .. 10-20 over and over again.Somehow I think Adam's fans are more critical than his detractors , Some patience and positivity would be great . Just saying.. To add to this, Radio play may be on it's way out, sooner than later. The whole music business is changing and how to sell songs is just entering a new dawn.Adam is a very wonderful singer with smarts and IMHO he will be on the cutting edge of this new age. Have some faith in the process Y'all No, there are many artist that are played on the radio. There are very few artists that have 2 songs in the Top 40 at any given time, and the Top 40 changes every week. In the Top 50 on CHR at this given time, the artists who have two songs are Drake, Adele and Rihanna. That means there are 47 unique artists who are on the Pop chart at this time. In the Top 20, there are seven first time artists who are enjoying their first taste of success on the pop charts. If you add in the Top 40 on HAC, Rhythmic, and Urban stations- you would have closer to over a hundred unique artists who are being played on radio at the current time. The statement that it is the same 10-20 artists over and over being played on radio is simply not an accurate one. Radio play is not on its way out anytime soon and it certainly has a big role currently in what makes or breaks pop stars. jo: Just saw the news about Sonisphere. That sucks!

Really hoping the new single is released next week. Love BTIKM, but it is time.
And I agree with tigerlily, radio is SO important. Hit songs are what will give Adam the big opportunities like award shows, continued invitations to the large radio events, and magazine articles/covers.

Apparently it was Cumulus Toledo HAC that was dropped from Mediabase today.

For all those who were going to Sonisphere., I feel so bad for you, beyond disappointing. They probably didn't have the money to pay their acts or cover their costs. What a mess. I still think Adam is doing great,in just a few years he went from being a chorus boy to look where he is now. I guess it's all relative but I refuse to think Adam is anything but super successful and I'm afraid that BTIKM not getting the radio play it should get song's fault or not, is not going to change my positive perspective. As far as how many artists get decent radio play ,how many don't .. do you have those figures? Success is measured in different ways, Adam has a wonderful career in the business he loves,He has a boyfriend who loves him supportive family, friends and millions of fans around the world.NOT BAD HUH.. Just saying.

3 or 4 years is a long time in the pop world. Adam is already 30 years old and that's when a lot of pop artists start to fade. I suppose he could be like Josh Grobin and just sell albums to his fan base, but that's not what Adam wants. He wants Katy Perry like sucess so those singles are very, very important and if his next one does what BTIKM has done, he probably will be very worried as will I. I do think Adam will always have some type of career but I think he deserves worldwide fame and success based on his "IT" factor and massive talent. I just want what he wants, and that's hit pop songs of which he only has one so far.

PINK, Kelly, Fergie, Britney ..... all still going strong!
