I don't often vote in those online polls designed to get hits for websites and move traffic. I don't participate in fan wars. But looking at the MTV March Madness site ------ OH HELL, NO! If Durbs wins against Green Day and Adam wins against whomever, they will be up against each other in the next round. DO. NOT. WANT. The carnage will be brutal. So, if anyone thinks of ways to avoid this possibility (not telling anyone to vote for Green Day repeatedly, tho' I think their music is better than their competition, but this is an Adam forum, right?) I would much appreciate it. www.mtv.com/content/news/2012/musical_march_madness_2012/ I'm going to vote for Adam in this thing because I guess it's important :  but really the inclusion of Durbin totally invalidates it for me. What possible reason to include him other than to get Idol loons frothing at the mouth... I can't wait until Adam is big enough that these stupid online votes don't matter...yeah, I'm annoyed with MTV  ETA: welcome notacray - love your username ;D |

Hi guys I got a call from 95.5 in Portland after I was at the Bing yesterday and they said I won a trip to LA for 3 days, April 12, 13 and 14 for two,to see American Idol and (Oh dear!) meet James Durbin. (Maybe I can get out of that!) Flight and hotel paid. It is for 2. Why isn't it for the week that Adam is there! Is this all because my name is Adele ?? Wow Abriton... So close and yet so far....the Ecstasy and the Agony!! Congrats and commiserations. Durbin??? Now May 15 drop date is set, does Adam have a def. date set for AI? We had been speculating on if and when. Sorry if the answer has already been posted. Don't see anything in the line-up on P1. If so, it would be amazing if you found a way to switch to Adam's week. Time to hone your persuasion skills! |

 I like it when people freely express their thoughts on this board without being silenced through peer pressure and shaming. I honor the free thinkers and especially those brave enough to speak their thoughts, even when they are unpopular. My 2 cents. Living my childhood and youth in a communist country and 15 years in the pseudo-democracy of the post-communist society, I too appreciate and admire those that are brave to state publicly their unpopular opinion. But it is completely different story if someone obsessively repeats over and over how much they dislike a certain Adam's song on a board that is read by over 100 fans (and non-fans) at any moment. But YAY, I love, love the acoustic NCOE! I will be listening to it a lot today! |

It is interesting that he is getting so much attention, I was really surprised to see his name in the MTV March Madness poll. WTF? |

But YAY, I love, love the acoustic NCOE! I will be listening to it a lot today! LOL, alright I am so guilty of this. But in trying to keep the peace today, I'll try and keep my mouth closed on this one. ;D I just hope that RCA is playing the single choices to all of these PD's of the radio stations that Adam is going too, and even ones that isn't, and poll their findings, and release the single they are the faves of the PD's. I just want Adam to have a hit single, it doesn't have to be a major hit. Just Top 30/20 CHR and Top 15/20 HAC will do for me. Which ever one it is.. |
