Regarding NCOE, I loved it!
I think it's a great song and watching Adam perform it was very pleasurable. You could see on his face how much he enjoyed singing it. There was this half a smile, half a smirk on his lips of a man so satisfied with his work and happy that he was finally on a stage giving us the fruits of his labor. His whole body was setting the rhythm, and the notes came from somewhere deep inside his belly, effortless. The only evidence of the physical strain was the vein on the side of his neck into which I stared like a maniac. His singing was very precise, surgeon-like cuts into the range of the song, his confidence almost cocky, but in a very, very good, appealing way.
He was giddy with delight last night and I was so happy for him. I was so happy for me, as well, since I'm such a smart girl for stanning this infinite well of talent and genius called Adam Lambert.
I'll let others worry about technicalities ( numbers, singles, spins and such), since I'm such a tool about those. Only pure unadulterated pleasure for me, please.
