What is a "straight jacket"? Is it also a metafora? A straitjacket (correct spelling) was a medical device of yesteryear used in mental hospitals to keep patients from injuring themselves or somebody else.  P.S. I'm sure the metaphor of "straight" is in use here as well. |

Yes, same thing with me. Every vote I cast it pulls the percentages from Adam's votes. I voted 3 times and tried different time frames and it is still showing the same thing. It is like a program that takes your click into the opponent's point box >:( |

I guess I need to explain myself. I love every song that Adam sings. Some just more than others. I hear BM in NOCE. I want success for Adam, more than anything, and I feel putting out 2 ballads, one just a little faster than the other is not showcasing Adam. I want his song to go to No.1 and gain lots more fans. Putting out a second ballad as a single, to me is not the best. I know we don't know what that second single is, but the album delay for that one song, makes it awfully suspicious. JMMHO. I really thought I could be talked off the ledge without a lot of judgement. Well I guessed wrong. Shame on me !!!!!!!!!!!!!! But how do you know that the album delay was for that one song? He recorded ANOTHER new song in Chicago. He also talked about logistics because of the international release ! !!!!!! |

Freedom of speech? Yes, please. Trashing Adam's songs? Hell, no! Everyone would agree with these two premises, I'm sure, but they are too wide and unspecific. I smiled when I read this, it reminded me of one of my Grandsons, who was taught to say "It's not my favorite" when he didn't want to eat something that was offered or served to him ... he wasn't negatively trashing the food, thereby insulting the cook, but it does clearly state his preference, just in a more polite and positive way. So, in the future, I will try to remember to say "It's not my favorite" or "I really like _______ better" when discussing Adam's songs ... I think that fits better with Adam's "glass half full" approach to life ...  Remember the old Crosby tune? You've got to accentuate the positive
Eliminate the negative
Latch on to the affirmative
Don't mess with Mister In-Between
You've got to spread joy up to the maximum
Bring gloom down to the minimum
Have faith or pandemonium
Liable to walk upon the scene |
