What is a "straight jacket"? Is it also a metafora? It has at least a double meaning: 1. People trying to call him crazy, put him in a straightjacket as if he's a lunatic, 2. Straight, as the opposite of gay, because there are also people trying to bend his gay, trying to 'cure' him, make him straight. ' Gotta get out of this straight jacket, whoa Gotta get out of this straight jacket, whoa yeah'

Coconutgrove0, where did you find the photo of Sauli and birthday wishes? It looks like an old one... Sauli's hair is all blond and there is Lotta... would she be visiting Portland today? A bit confusing with no reference.
ETA Actually it looks like the girl in the middle has her birthday...

Is this attitude really wide spread or one moron out of the bunch? Just one from what I can see by reading Panic at the Disco's feed. A question...the site 'seems' to let you vote without refreshing the whole page....but the % number goes down each time....but it is also going down after refreshing so ??? Is you vote still counted without refreshing? I also really hate these things....they rarely make sense or difference and I think we are being generally played for a sucker as they seem to have little point or result....sigh...that Sophie one is the most blatent nasty....my opinion only... Please can we stop calling others out because they don't share our opinion?...if you must leave, do so and that is sad for us... just threatening to pick up your toys and leave, or go to another sandbox does not make a lot of sense to me....especially as it is clear that we have the very best sandbox EVAH....

' Gotta get out of this straight jacket, whoa Gotta get out of this straight jacket, whoa yeah' Not just that they are trying to cure him but that the world is geared for straight and so being gay is out of step much like being left handed in a world where everything is designed for right handed people. There really didn't used to be things like left handed scissors or guitars or whatevers and a lefty trying to use right handed items is difficult. It's like being trapped in something very uncomfortable.

Freedom of speech? Yes, please. Trashing Adam's songs? Hell, no! Everyone would agree with these two premises, I'm sure, but they are too wide and unspecific. I smiled when I read this, it reminded me of one of my Grandsons, who was taught to say "It's not my favorite" when he didn't want to eat something that was offered or served to him ... he wasn't negatively trashing the food, thereby insulting the cook, but it does clearly state his preference, just in a more polite and positive way. So, in the future, I will try to remember to say "It's not my favorite" or "I really like _______ better" when discussing Adam's songs ... I think that fits better with Adam's "glass half full" approach to life ... Remember the old Crosby tune? You've got to accentuate the positive Eliminate the negative Latch on to the affirmative Don't mess with Mister In-Between
You've got to spread joy up to the maximum Bring gloom down to the minimum Have faith or pandemonium Liable to walk upon the scene Hi, JustKaren!!! This is the first time I ran into you here Remember me? You sent me a Rolling Stone magazine all the way from USA to this small country of mine in the middle of Balcans. I STILL LOVE YOU FOR THAT!!! Just a bad apple in a bunch. I love PATD, used to go on a PATD forum and talked to a lot of fans when I saw them live a few months ago and they were all lovely.
