These tweets are from the previous gig Kritik @kritikpdx His voice. With nothing but the light guitar for BTIKM was magical. It was almost like he was whispering at first. Beautiful. Such a treat! But given a lot of people don't like this song at all - just wanted to say I very much liked this version of NCOE - Adam sounded amazing. And it sounded a bit like a potential Bond theme song to me - esp the chorus and break. Wld need to be vamped up of course and with more edgy arrangement. It may be less violent than most Bond themes but does have request inclusion of 'Die' so...

I know the songs are very, very different but strangely some dramatic elements struck me as similar. (And yeah neither this song nor the next Bond theme by Jack White and Alicia
Keys (Another Way to Die) were hits but it's still a cool credit.)
This quote was from MIKA at the end of yesterday's thread, but it hit the nail on the head. Mika From the moment I heard this song... I immediately thought James Bond. I'm glad someone else heard exactly the same thing I did. While I 'like' NCOE my issue with it is isn't the lyrics or mood... its that its impossible to sing along to and there is no hook. I think it makes a fine album track, but it isn't a good single material if you have other options. It made me think of a Bond song as well, lol. There you go. Come on movie industry. oh.. no.. not Bruno song... but I want Adam's voice for the Bond movie though.. haha.. Anyway... I think there's something few months ago between the James Bond movie producer and Queen... something like they said it's time for rock band Queen to do song for the new Bond movie... hopefully they will give the theme song for the new Bond movie to Queen and I'm crossing my finger that Brian going to ask Adam to sing it... please Brian.. ;D |

Coconutgrove0, where did you find the photo of Sauli and birthday wishes? It looks like an old one... Sauli's hair is all blond and there is Lotta... would she be visiting Portland today? You all know that I like NCOE from the begining and there is that thing when you write for example "lame and boring" I feel a little like you are writing it about me. I know it's idiotic and I shouldn't feel that way but you don't have control over that. And it hurt a a little bit more when you repeat this. I get it that you don't like the song, I respect your opinion and all that stuff but what can I do? I'm just irrationally emotional about this.
