WHEN DOES THIS END? MIDNIGHT EASTERN TIME OR PACIFIC TIME?And I lol'd when I saw Spindleshay tweet this (she's so ornery!): @thespindleshay I'm voting here haha bit.ly/HsIPMKGreen Day fans embedded it on their fan site! I am laughing at the comments in their thread (NOT in a bad way, either--there's back and forth bashing/defending of Adam that is kinda funny!) I've actually switched to the Green Day site because I don't have to scroll down to get the "return to poll" option. Get more clicks in that way. ;D I'm using their site too. My hand is numb.

We angst so much about where Adam's music falls, genre-wise, because it is so important that he be 'pop' yet look at the top ten selling albums in the US in the last 10 years....: 1. Norah Jones, Come Away With Me (2002): 10,797,000 copies sold to date 2. Eminem, The Eminem Show (2002): 10,049,000 3. Usher, Confessions (2004): 9,968,000 4. Adele, 21 (2011): 8,090,000 5. 50 Cent, Get Rich Or Die Tryin’ (2003): 8,086,000 6. Evanescence, Fallen (2003): 7,619,000 7. Nickelback, All The Right Reasons (2005): 7,582,000 8. Carrie Underwood, Some Hearts (2005): 7,177,000 9. Avril Lavigne, Let Go (2002): 6,782,000 10. Taylor Swift, Fearless (2008): 6,514,000 eta....this is from Vh1 www.vh1.com/music/tuner/2012-03-29/what-album-has-sold-the-most-copies-in-the-last-10-years-hint-its-not-adele/?xrs=VH1EmailAll of these artists had mega hits in their respected genre of music. Most of them had multiple mega hits on Pop stations. (Norah Jones really only had one and one in the top 20, but that was ten years ago.) What genre, other than Pop, do you expect Adam to get hits on? ???

Late to the party but voting my little fingers off. Seoulmate's technique works. Vote 30-40 times then STOP (don't wait to get jailed which happens around 50). Then voluntarily cool off for about 10-15 minutes then vote again. Repeat. This techniques allows you to vote aroung 150 times per hour without going to 'Jail". Good strategy for the next round. Thanks Seoulmate for coming up with this brilliant idea.
Looks like Green Day are the defending champs from last year. Makes me more motivated to vote, LOL!
Thanks to all those who gave such riveting recaps from the last few days. Meeting and hugging Adam is a "religious" experience, at least for me. It has been 3 weeks and I still feel a warm glow when I think about it.
Ok, it's been 10 minutes. Back to voting!

Oh there are a couple of ways he could go but that is not my point...just noting because it is interesting that the majority of these top sellers are not obvious pop....Avril Lavigne is probably the most obvious....Adele crossed into pop but would normally be more adult contemporary, as is the #1 seller, Norah Jones. I just thought it was surprising....none of those 'big diva's' in the group....and just think...I bet just off the top ten is Subo....:-}
