All of these artists had massive mega hits in their respected genre of music. Most of them had multiple mega hits on Pop stations. (Norah Jones really only had one and one in the top 20, but that was ten years ago.) What genre, other than Pop, do you expect Adam to get hits on? ??? Oh there are a couple of ways he could go but that is not my point...just noting because it is interesting that the majority of these top sellers are not obvious pop....Avril Lavigne is probably the most obvious....Adele crossed into pop but would normally be more adult contemporary, as is the #1 seller, Norah Jones. I just thought it was surprising....none of those 'big diva's' in the group....and just think...I bet just off the top ten is Subo....:-} Whaaat?  Arvil's songs were #1 Pop hits! Her hit song, Complicated was HUGE on Pop stations. Adele has had four mega Pop hits...so far. Even Nickelback had huge Pop hits off of the album on the list. A lot has changed in the last 5-10 years. Of course, Adam doesn't have to be a Pop artist, (but that is the way he is going) but he needs to have huge hits in SOME genre of music. Adam isn't a Country artist like Carrie or Taylor and he certainly isn't some huge R&B or Rap Icon like Eminem or Usher.  |

Though, have to say this comment made me laugh out loud: dont give up keep voting - once all his fans get bored the gd fans will still be voting Didn't sign up to clue in this poster that "all his fans get bored" is not going to happen til a little closer to the other end of this century. Though have to say one commenter made a very interesting point during their "who is this guy?" investigation. That Green Day had 22 million FaceBook followers and Adam had 2 million. So how could this be happening, they wondered. (Rigged poll and fans of other groups who would rather face Adam than Green Day were popular suggestions.) But that 22 vs. 2 just reminded me of how Adam has such a firm foundation supporting his future. And continuing proof that there is power in passion. |

Looks like Green Day are the defending champs from last year. Makes me more motivated to vote, LOL! MTV article said Green Day didn't pick up their trophy last year. A little strange since it's such an easy free PR opportunity. |

One good thing about this MTV thing is Adam Lambert being exposed to music fans especially those group that he is competing with. Now they'll hear his name and hopefully look his music up. Some may not like him but at least they'll know who he is...an artist who defeated their group! Heh...  MTV update: Adam = 51.59 |

There always seem to be a few idiots in the bunch!! A stupid Adam fan went over there and said she was voting on their site. Sorta like Nanana! Pissed them off. Why was it necessary to do that?? So stupid!!!
Also Q3 has requested we don't bring stuff from another site.

I don't know about Kris Allen's upcoming album being released on vinyl. But i do know
(from mj's) that his new single is out in cd form, and is available at Walmarts, at least in Kris's home state.
THis makes it convenient for everyone in Arkansas to buy a copy.
