Oh there are a couple of ways he could go but that is not my point...just noting because it is interesting that the majority of these top sellers are not obvious pop....Avril Lavigne is probably the most obvious....Adele crossed into pop but would normally be more adult contemporary, as is the #1 seller, Norah Jones. I just thought it was surprising....none of those 'big diva's' in the group....and just think...I bet just off the top ten is Subo....:-} Whaaat?  Arvil's songs were #1 Pop hits! Her hit song, Complicated was HUGE on Pop stations. Adele has had four mega Pop hits...so far. Even Nickelback had huge Pop hits off of the album on the list. A lot has changed in the last 5-10 years. Of course, Adam doesn't have to be a Pop artist, (but that is the way he is going) but he needs to have huge hits in SOME genre of music. Adam isn't a Country artist like Carrie or Taylor and he certainly isn't some huge R&B or Rap Icon like Eminem or Usher.  HAHA...MIS-WROTE that...I meant that Avril is the only clear pop singer in the list...the rest are all more hac or country or rock or r&b rap...that was my point....the top hit records of the last 10 years are NOT pop ones....that is it...not here to fight...just pointing out someone else's numbers and commenting!! |

Stardust, I agree totally. It really bothers me that some Adam fans do stupid things that
reflect poorly on Adam and the fan base.
Still many Green Day people have been pretty insulting to Adam on twitter, and that only encourages me to cast another vote.

Awww, their comments are so cute!! They are us!! ;D They did seem very sweet at that Green Day site. Though, have to say this comment made me laugh out loud: dont give up keep voting - once all his fans get bored the gd fans will still be voting Didn't sign up to clue in this poster that "all his fans get bored" is not going to happen til a little closer to the other end of this century. Though have to say one commenter made a very interesting point during their "who is this guy?" investigation. That Green Day had 22 million FaceBook followers and Adam had 2 million. So how could this be happening, they wondered. (Rigged poll and fans of other groups who would rather face Adam than Green Day were popular suggestions.) But that 22 vs. 2 just reminded me of how Adam has such a firm foundation supporting his future. And continuing proof that there is power in passion. They forget though that Adam has been around just over 2 years and Green Day has been around forever. Let's see how many Adam has on Facebook in 10 years! Plus, we all know that Adam doesn't even do his Facebook! The Twitter follower numbers for Adam and Green Day are much closer. They have 1.79 million |

Since I couldn't think of ONE WORD to say (Note to self: HI ADAM!! is the correct thing to say in this moment), I just started randomly swinging my right arm in Momtomany's general direction while fixing my eyes on Adam. I must have looked like I was having a seizure or something I did manage to hit a few people which got their attention. Finally someone said HI ADAM! and that did the rest of the work.” Ok, back to reading the rest of your recap.  |

There always seem to be a few idiots in the bunch!! A stupid Adam fan went over there and said she was voting on their site. Sorta like Nanana! Pissed them off. Why was it necessary to do that?? So stupid!!! Also Q3 has requested we don't bring stuff from another site. Dear lord, I read that too! ....they ain't gonna be "sweet" anymore. I don't understand some people. :  Oh....I don't think ANYBODY can beat Tokio Hotel in an online poll. Were they in in last year when Green Day won?? |

OMG the numbers dropping faster than it increases now.. I'm gonna wait for 10-15 minutes before voting again.
Drop like a rock.. I guess this last 45minutes they're really working hard to increase their number
