I have gotten the real scoop on the "Greensleeves" rumor. Posted on page 1. Seriously thinking about banning NoAngel for spreading the spurious rumors. Should I? ??? I really don't know where y'all are getting all this English Countryside info. I have it from a VERY good source that Adam has purchased a lovely goat ranch in Texas. He has ordered custom cowboy boots from Rick Owens and studded chaps and saddle from The Blonds. Further, he has announced his new single is to be "Home on the Range". But, but ... I heard it was alpacas!!! (Goats were sooo last century ...)  The farm is called A.L.'s ALpacas; these two are named Sauli and Adam  He has his friends at Skingraft working on dying the wool green for the sleeves of his new alpaca!jacket costume to be debuted when he opens for James Durbin in a duet with Constantine (before he leaves on a worldwide tour fronting the revival of the Starland Vocal Band). After surprising fans by announcing that his next single will be the traditional English folk song "Greensleeves," singer Adam Lambert has doubled down on the theme and vowed to start wearing only shirts that feature--what else? Green sleeves. "This isn't just a promotional opportunity," the silver-voiced performer explained. "It's cool, it's flashy, it's daring. Oh, and just the quick backstory on the Greensleeves thing: Back during GNT, a few of us were waiting around before the M&G at the first Honolulu show, and talking about how anything we tweeted went viral because of those concert twitter lists we were all on. So I jokingly said that we should tweet that we can overhear Adam soundchecking Greensleeves and see what happens.Well, naturally Anthrogeek, being the troublemaker she is, does just that, and soon it's being RT'd all over the place and some people don't realize it's a joke and there was a bunch of WTF tweets. It was pretty funny. And then during her time with Adam, Anthrogeek shows him her phone with the Greensleeves rumors and he got a kick out of it. Good times I didn't know that was your idea!! LOL. |

...kayko, jussayin and maryt1! LMAO!! That M&G in Hawaii was classic. And he was so cute when Anthrogeek told him we deliberately started a rumor. He said (something like): Oh yay, I love rumors! And then he leaned over to carefully read anthrogeek's phone as she scrolled through the Greensleeves flail. Then he smiled and laughed and kind of shook his head at her, but he definitely seemed to get a kick out of it. |
