Isn't the taping for the show tonight, not last night? ETA: yes, the taping for the Idols is tonight....unless he went by himself and taped his song....no audience.... |

I suspect it is twitter people trying to start a rumor because there was no Idol taping yesterday. The taping is today. It would be more than disappointing. It would be maddening, because standing in line for 4 hours just to see what I could see on TV would not be cool. Even though you all wish you lived in CA so you could go to these things, going to TV shows is not an easy task. It involves pretty much a whole day of one's time. |

I'm afraid the performance that cannot be named seriously scarred me. I'm always nervous for these really big "hyped" gigs.... Never worry about the talk shows, or the myriad of concert performances cuz he's got those worked out....but these big events, where perhaps he's expected to "have a moment" are nerve wracking for me...haha! *sighs* He'll be spectacular, and I will feel silly for worrying. ;D For me, it's even before the performance that cannot be named. Every performance night during Adam's season i was always nervous, excited to see Adam but would be shaking like leaves when he sang. Silly, I know, but I just wanted him to do well and got good critics from the judges. And of course now the stake is higher, so even if I can't wait until Thursday, I am more excited for it to be over! :-/ LOL. this is how I feel, so afraid something will go wrong and people will criticize him...backflash to that show..the tv shows were all taped and this one will be live..I know he will be great and I know I am worrying for nothing |

He did great last year on the live Idol results show. and really only a few people criticized his AMA performance.

Just followed that Twitter feed and it looks like one person trying to start a rumor then followers jumping on it.
I think the fact that the show is taping today pretty much squashes it. They wouldn't tape the performance wihtout an audience or Ryan, or for that matter, the contestants. The contestants were really busy with other things yesterday.

They are saying that Adam's performance will be pre-recorded. why would he do that? that's just silly and Adam himself said he's performing on Thursday. there are no pre-recorded performances on results night that I can recall. People really have way too much time on their hands trying to stir up angst. |
