They are saying that Adam's performance will be pre-recorded. why would he do that? that's just silly and Adam himself said he's performing on Thursday. there are no pre-recorded performances on results night that I can recall. People really have way too much time on their hands trying to stir up angst. A lot of guest performances are pre-recorded for results night. It usually has to do with either their schedules, or the production they need (like Gaga.) Adam doesn't need either, for this song. His WWFM green tornado was live! The only reason I would see him pre-recording is if Nigel wanted him to, for some reason. The show seems to be having some mixing issues, which again, Adam won't have a problem with. The actual taping and rehearsals are today, so if it doesn't get recorded during one of those, then it will be live. They usually use the rehearsal audience or the performance audience for the pre-recorded guest spots. |

I can understand why some may have thought that Adam's performance may have been pre-recorded. Yesterday Nigel caused a sh*tstorm when he said that the first two weeks would be taped. People were very upset and accused him of show manipulation. He dug himself in deeper when he said that if a contestant's number had to be done over they would use the sound from the first singing. Nigel had a real hissy fit and called people morons.
We are pre-taping for 2 weeks as we have a new Director & new judges. It has nothing to do with manipulation you morons.
