You guys would have appreciated this performance and would have done it such justice if you had the privilege of videotaping. I was holding on to hope cuz there was a camera positioned in back of theatre. And another radio station took video of a mic-less performance. I have a lump in my throat. Think I'm gonna cry now!! But I should just appreciate that I got to see it. Right? Oh & they said no videotaping whatsoever to audience -they would "Kick us out". So I kind of hoped it was because they were.  Not only were they disorganised but they were organised enough to be officious idiots about audience vids. |

That's also how we got WWFM! ;D ...and IIHY. Without WWFM, Adam's last era would have been an entirely different era. This current one would have been completely different as well. Labels make mistakes. Not all great songs become hits, sometimes terrible songs become worldwide hits. NO ONE can predict any of it 100% of the time! There are tons of factors involved in picking a single and in what makes a hit. I've often wondering how much the international market factors in when picking a single -- or whether the assumption is for a pop artist that the international market will usually follow the US market. It's been interesting to watch how different songs (of Adam or other new/breaking pop artists) get varied airplay in different countries. Does anyone know the general ballpark of how Adam's total sales stack up US vs. international? Is it 50/50? 60/40? |

You know, now that I think about it, much to my MIL's chagrin, I don't really trust anyone with my babies. Guess that might have something to do with my problem with RCA handling Adam's. Here's the problem: they aren't just Adam's babies. RCA is the mother!  |

rabbitrabbit, that Joe Cocker video has been a fave of mine for a long time. I've e-mailed it around the world a few times.
I'm a total lyrics nut. Most songs are primarily about the lyrics for me. Of course, I love the music, but always want/need to know all of the lyrics. Whether they be silly and stupid or meaningful. Before the internet, it would drive me crazy if albums didn't come with lyrics. I can't even remember how many songs I sang the wrong lyrics to and would do a total face palm on the wrong shit I'd been singing for years and years. A lot of times some of "my" lyrics weren't even words. Now I'll hear an old song and write down the title so I can look up the lyrics. Elton John's lyrics were some of the hardest because Bernie writes some pretty unusual shit.

Ha, ha! Bo, bo I don't know what you think "get a load of me" means, but I am imagining!  What it actually means is just "wait until you see me because you ain't seen nothing like me yet!" Miachihu, I guess international fans will be thinking 'thingses" is now a correct plural!!  Thanks mys*&@^#r! I will not explain what I thought "get a load of me" means! OMG  :-[ Hahaha... well we all know Adam likes double meanings so yes, there could be another twist to that phrase which comes to my mind too... |
